Now that we've got the NOA2 approved, I know the next step is USCIS sending our packet to the NVC, and eventually onto the US embassy in the UK. For those that have gone through the K1 process already, what exactly can we expect from NVC? Will they send a form of NOA1/2 to us once they recieve it? Do they do anything with the packet besides send it to the embassy? How long should we expect it to take before the Embassy gets it?

And does the USCIS website that shows up the status of our packet now become useless since it's moving onto the State Department? Do they have a site set up similiar to the USCIS where I can check on our packet's progress?

Also, I can't seem to find a list of forms or documents that the US embassy in London requires from the Beneficiary... I believe the support form is one of them, but which one? And what other forms might be needed? I'd like to try and get all of them done, especially the one's that need any kind of input from me, so that she can take them back to England with her since she's got a trip planned to visit me on March 29th. Yes, I'm anxious to get the remainder of the process finished :-).

Last question for now... does anyone know the average wait time for the US embassy in the UK, from the time they send the new forums to the beneficiary until the interview? I know it's usually within a week after the interview that the visa arrives.

Damm ..... I missed reading about yours and JB's approval..Congratulatios

Have a read here as it should answer most of your questions

http://www.visajourney.com/consulates/index.php?ctry=United%20Kingdom&cty=London and is a recent update.

NVC in general is ony a quick pitstop before being sent off to emabassy so there is no way of tracking it online as with USCIS. You can call, but you cant use the automated response........you must speak to an operator.

The only thing we got from the NVC was a letter with the case number and saying that the petition have been sent to Manila. We were approved on March 9th and the petition was in Manila March 28th (last year) Good luck
