Do you know how long Medisys takes to process the medical?, I'm trying to figure out where I should go for mine.

Called Medisys today and they said they need three business days turnaround for it to reach the Montreal Consulate. :)

They need 3 days AFTER medical day. So 4 in total. And they can mail it to you (which obviously takes longer) or you can pick it up. They don't send it to the consulate. At least they haven't thus far.

Hey guys,

Though I had already filed it given the forms online, my fiance and I both got a letter in the mail (though the letter itself was only addressed to me) basically outlining Packet 3 but the bottom said this:

Please allow six weeks for the review of your case, after you send the required documents. Upon completion, the U.S Consulate General in Montreal will send you a Packet 4 letter with instructions.....blah blah blah

Does it honestly take 6 weeks? If it does that ruins like all plans for a summer wedding I was hoping to have...

I emailed my necessary documents to them a week ago and have heard nothing yet....I don't know if I'm supposed to check myself if Packet 3 has been logged and Packet 4 is being sent out or whatever, I don't know.

I feel like I've been asking so many questions on this site, so I apologize if I'm annoying! haha

Thanks again for any advice that can be given

No it doesn't normally take 6 weeks but it can.

Well that's a relief, it's already been a week...really hoping I hear something soon.

Worst comes to worst you can email it again. Double check your spam folder that it went through.

Yeah, I keep checking just in case it shows up in my junk mail, I received the automated response from them when I sent my email so I'm certain its correct. Guess I just have to be patient.

Glad I found a thread for Montreal!

My application left NVC on 2015-05-08 and on the 12th I checked https://ceac.state.gov/CEACStatTracker/Status.aspxand it said my application was ready. I emailed Montreal-IV-DV@state.gov and asked them if I could send in the contents of packet 3 based on my status update and they said yes. On May 14th I sent them packet 3 checklist and scans. I emailed them back and they confirmed they have received my packet 3 but I have not received the packet 3 letter from them yet or anything about the packet 4. I emailed them again today to ask them about packet 4. What does packet 4 look like? Is it emailed?
