Good morning... as the others have stated... the person who responded in such a rude and ill manner definitely has some issues... along with being narrow-minded bigots... butt-wipes... uneducated & judgemental. My mama always said... treat others the way you wish to be treated... and that what goes around, comes around... and it comes back 10 time worse....

Don't let some jackass cause you grief... believe in the love that you and your sweetie has... think positive thoughts... and whenever confronted by morons of such nature... just tell them to buzz off! Slap their butts on ignore... and continue forward!!!

I am praying for ya... and wishing you the best!

*hugs*

Blessings,

Lynne

HI there, i'm so sad and disappointed now. Since i have just started finding out about what a K1 visa is, i have been reading around in different sites and just now i asked about it in a forum and this is the reply i got: "Stay in your own god damned country. We have enough foreign illiterates here already". So, imagine how i feel now, that response made me cry because if my fiance and i r requesting for this visa it's cuz we love each other and unfortunately some ppl see it as taking advantage, or like using ppl as bridge to cross to the States but that just not true. It's really sad getting a response like that, anyway.... i'm just mad and sad now... Thanks for reading

The others have worded it so perfectly. The person who said this to you obviously has there own problems and simply can't see past there nose to be happy for others. I've been in similar situations, whenever me or my fiance tell somebody that I'm immigrating to the states to be with the person I love they think I'm not serious and begin lecturing us about how much we'll be a burden for the state. There are alot of uneducated people out there. Just wait, if they ever find love in another country....perhaps another moron will say it back to them...

Love hurts

When you live an ocean away

When you change your sleep schedule to catch a few more moments

When you really need to be held and you have to imagine whilst your partner describes it

When you constantly refresh the USCIS website to see if you're getting any closer

Love Loves

When it repays you with the love of your life

When God finally answered your biggest prayer

When you can live life again in the real world but still have that eternal connection

When you wake up for to the beginning of the rest of your life with the person you fought so hard for

When you love somebody that much

You'll do anything

Hello. I really want to thank everybody who replied, you've made me feel so supported, and of course, only the people who go through a real love distance relationship know what it is like to having someone so close to our hearts but yet so far cuz of distance. Those who criticize foreign people coming to the states dont realize what it is like to leave everything behind for the person we love, i've come to know it will be the hardest thing for me to do and my fiance says that he knows he has a big responsibility cuz i'm leaving my family for him, and also i'm certain the K1 visa process will be stressful, i feel stressed and worried already, so, having this type of relationship is no easy cake, and it's unfair to having someone's finger pointed at me.

Thank you so so much for your support and for making me feel so welcomed already, God bless you all and may He help us shorten the distance from our loved ones sooner than expected.

Hugs to all and thanks again

Almost everyone in this country is the descendant of an immigrant or two or 3 or 20 or 50. If it weren't for immigration, those haters wouldn't be sitting at their computers being stupid.

I've stopped posting on other message boards, because obnoquiousness comes out strong online.

I'm sure you'll be happy here, since we're all n the same boat.

You know, I had the same damn problem. I had enough of it. And I'm so sorry that people even dare to think and say things like this. Also it was with me because I'm pretty young, just 22, and my baby lives in the US, so people could easily think something wrong and bad. I hurted my feeling a lot, because I'm russian and when they finding out that I'm leaving soon, they become jealous and start talking bullshit. Sometimes, because of it I don't even tell some people about my plans.

We are here and we all understand and I'm really sorry for people who not able to admit real love!

we are all of the same kind
