Good luck on your interview. I think you got this one. Let's us know how you do and I for one is curious about how the co-sponsor worked for you.

Thanks! Yeah, I'm just a little uneasy having read so many horror stories on here. I think you're right, as I read a review of a couple similar to us (some differences, they were younger by about five years I think) and they got through with their parents co-sponsoring just fine. I just hate how the interview is such a big moment that all comes down to a simple "yes or no" essentially. I mean, I've read we can fight a no by involving our Senator, but it's still a very emotionally weighted ordeal =/

And, you got me curious too, what's got your curiousity peaked about the co-sponsor?

We processed through the Philippines and USEM there, will most times, disallow a co-sponsor for a K1. So reading here in this thread it sounds like your Embassy is different and therefore I just wanted first hand knowledge whether you were needed the sponsor or not to pass your interview.

Ah okay got ya =) Yeah I'll definitely update come October 13th. India seems to be one of the better ones with Co-sponsors, heck their website even mandates that if you can't meet the financial requirements you must have a co-sponsor and documents.

Filed: K-1 Visa Country: Angola
Timeline

I so wished I was sharing our interview date but my fiancé broke up with me over email yesterday. He said we were moving too fast and he didn't want to get married anymore. He claims he's interviewing with some American company in Angola that agreed to give him a work visa and then 'maybe' we can spend more time together.

I'm so heartbroken.

I wish everyone the best of luck in their marriage. I know that this journey is not for the faint of heart so I commend everyone who works hard to maintain their commitment.

Our K1 journey

I'm really sorry to hear that =(, but, I think its better you found out now, then to get him over to the U.S. and discover he just wasn't feeling it anymore. No matter what I'm so sorry this happened to you =( I know how much it can hurt to learn the person you love just doesn't feel the same way anymore.
