Hi,

Check what your embassy requires. Have you seen your embassy's page here on VJ? The reviews of others on there give you a good idea of what they will really want to see.

I had my 2014 tax return, W2, 1 years worth of paycheck stubs. My fiancee had my 2012,2013 tax returns just in case but they didn't want to see them.

Good luck!!

Hi Guys ! Our packet is already in transit from NVC to US Embassy hir in Manila .. How long do u think it will take before my fiance get Mail from NVC ????

Hi,

The consulate will be one contacting her now. NVC is out of the picture :joy: Someone with experience with the Philippines consulate can help with telling you how long they usually take.

lol, After NOA2 I had emailed NVC back on July 6 to ask the status of my fiancee's application and guess when they replied? Sept 18. The day after he was approved at the consulate interview, lol.

Good luck!

About 30-45 days. So if you are waiting for the "letter" to go to the next step stop waiting.

All your questions and then some can be answered from my website, which is free. It will walk you through step by step the process for the Embassy in the Philippines at Manila. It walks you through each step and lets you know what documents are required, what the experience will be like, and help you avoid the "gotchas" that can cause an RFE.

Finally got through all the Steps (PCC, Medical, DS-160, Payment) and we've got Linny's Biometric scheduled for the 28th, and her actual interview for October 13th, which I'll be attending since India is a high fraud country and Interracial couples generally get 221gs unless the petitioner is present. I'm a little nervous since I don't meet the financial requirements (I'm an aspiring writer and this year is literally the first year I've made any money), but everything I've read says that they accept Co-sponsors and both my parents are heavily supportive of this engagement/marriage and have signed as Co-sponsors with all the appropriate documentation. I'm just hoping it doesn't turn out bad =/, words of encouragement would be great, but wish us luck come the 13th, and it's great to read about so many people getting approval! I just hope we're another approval come this October.

Good luck on your interview. I think you got this one. Let's us know how you do and I for one is curious about how the co-sponsor worked for you.
