Hi all,

For the CEAC tracking k1 do choose "nonimmigrant" visa? is that correct? if so, then for location what do you choose..the embassy destination location? If that is incorrect that what is the location i am supposed to be entering?..Because my visa left the NVC 3 or so days ago and no matter what I do the CEAC is stll not yielding any results.

Received the text and email that our petition was approved on June 30. Still waiting for the hard copy NOA2. NVC is telling me to wait 35 days after the notice date. I don't have a hard copy notice yet so the days keep ticking by. USCUIS won't talk to me about it until it has been 30 days so I have to wait another week before they will even look for it. Very frustrating to know it is approved and just sitting there.

Its fine. Don't stress out too much about the letter! important that it is approved!

Absolutely I am thrilled it's approved!! I don't care about the letter but I am still waiting for USCIS to send it to NVC.

It has most likely been sent already and received by the NVC, though they have not yet assigned a case number to it. You should have a case number sometime next week perhaps Monday even. Hang in there because once they receive you better believe that things move a lot quicker. So in the meantime be sure to tie up all the loose ends and gather the proper documentation. Take a look at my time to see how quickly things go once at the NVC. Best wishes!!

thank you! still waiting! i did an estimated DHL tracking and my case may be at the embassy already but of course through DHL i cant totally be sure...july 24th now and i would've thought NVC wouldve updated from july 20/21 already! makes me nervous!! lol

I still can't figure out that DHL thing! They said our case left NVC on Tuesday 21st and then wednesday afternoon ours said Ready..It went from not seeing any results and then wednesday morning it said at NVC and then Wednesday afternoon said Ready!! The CEAC tracker also makes me nervous!!

ugh really?! everything seems so inconsistent it's crazy! everyone is experiencing different scenarios. I only ever called NVC 2 times, once they did not have our case and then last night July 23 they HAD it but it was already sent out 2 days ago. So i never actually had the chance to watch the progress on CEAC to go "ready", and now I feel like it should definitely be saying Ready if it is long gone! So confusing.. I

For DHL I followed these instructions, http://www.visajourney.com/forums/topic/178989-dhl-tracking/and went here http://www.dhl.com/en/express/tracking/shippers_reference.html and literally just guessed (or hoped) that I was tracking MY case and not someone elses lol. Only thing is that it says Boston MA insteah of Portsmouth MA..so i thought that was weird but now something tells me theyre one in the same? so anyway if that was in fact my case then the sydney embassy already has it..i guess its just a waiting game now to hear from them! I am so confused on if I make an appoitment with them or is they assign one to me.. I hear all embassies are different so its hard to know..

It is frustrating! Have you called NVC yet?

It took 3 weeks for my case to get from California to NVC and it is still sitting at NVC now Our case was approved June 18th.

Portsmouth, NH is an hour north of Boston. Maybe DHL starts tracking it from there?

Did you check the portal for Australia here on VJ? I had lots of questions about the process in South Africa , so I went to the portal and found someone a couple steps ahead of me and asked them my embassy specific questions.

Unfortunately things don't always go quickly at NVC. It is best to expect 4 weeks and be happy with less.

I really hope everyone gets through NVC in 2-3 days.

My case is STILL there... It was assigned a number July 10th. I call all the time and they tell me its undergoing the usual review and to give it another two weeks or so.

I have been so paranoid something is wrong but it looks like lots of cases from July 10th are still at NVC. On the CEAC website I change the last digits of my case ID and see the other South African case assigned on July 10th and it is still at NVC. If I change the embassy code to Manila I see tons of cases from July 10th still at NVC and a few that were processed quickly and "ready" or "in transit".

So its just luck. You were lucky and I hope everyone else waiting to get a case number gets lucky too!!!

It was faster to get NOA2 than this It took 3 week for the case to get from California to NVC and get a case number and now this waiting.

After finally getting through to NVC last night, they said my case was in the system and transferred my call. 45 minutes on hold I fell asleep so now I have to wait until Monday. Ahhhh

I just checked the number given to me by the NVC, and it shows my case in transit. I'm not sure when they actually sent it, but likely sometime in the last couple of days.

Good morning, from the Philippines.

After six days of getting "search did not return any data" status every time I checked with the CEAC website, I finally got a status at around 9 last night...that of READY.

So for those who have been experiencing the same, don't fret, give it a day or two. Prayers are sent your way.

Hi Champaigne. Since it's already showing "Ready" you do not have to wait for a packet 3 before your schedule your interview and your medical.
