*I hit redial about 10 times. If you just hear the message about long wait times etc. just hang up and call back. If you get the ringing tone you got through, and just follow the menus. I was on hold about 25 minutes.

Good luck!

So I called today and it appears I've got a case number. Also the customer service rep said they sent the package already to the consulate on Monday. :joy:

Although now I'm a little lost about what to do next lol.

Hey Van.

So I called NVC today. You guys are so awesome here. After I got my case number, I used the link to CEAC that everyone had left to check their cases online, where my case was at. Johannesburg has received my case and they're pretty much ready to receive me. I can't do a thing though since I'm still waiting on my birth certificate. I wanna call the Embassy and ask if they'll help me to schedule an interview and send them the original birth certificate once I receive it. Not sure if it's gonna work. But I suppose I gotta try. How far is your case? Any news?

Thats great news!!! I hope everything is sorted quickly with your birth certificate. When are you hoping to move to the US?

I am still waiting for NVC to send the case to Johannesburg. I called this morning and asked if something was wrong and why it was taking so long. The person said everything was fine but didn't give a timeframe as to when it will be sent on.

9/01/13- Met online 7/10/15- NVC case # assigned **22 days from NOA2**

11/9/13- Met 1st time in person (L) 7/27/15- Case left NVC to South Africa!!!

2/01/14- Met 2nd time in person (L) 7/28/15- Case "ready"

9/01/14- Met 3rd time in person (L) 7/31/15- Consulate received

5/11/15- Mailed I-129F 8/4/15- Packet 3 received by email

5/19/15- NOA1--- Got routed to CSC!!! :dancing: 8/7/15- Sent Packet 3

5/22/15- File "touched" 8/7/15- Packet 4 received by email!

5/27/15- Our baby was born (L) 9/7- 9/8- Medical

6/18/15- NOA2!!!! Email notification at 21:30 Central Time **30 days from NOA1** 9/17/15- Interview!!! APPROVED :luv:

9/28/15- Visa in hand

9/29/15- US Entry---- Finally!!

Ay sweety. That's annoying! Hang in there. They have to eventually send it. Have faith. Right time. Best reason.

I was going to come back to New Zealand after the interview. But now I'm thinking about resigning at the end of August. I miss my hubby too much. Wanting to do my interview in September, praying I'll have my birth certificate then. Then fly over towards the end of Sept. Early Oct.

I, the petitioner, registered online on the USCIS site to get an email on the change of status. This is how I new about the NOA2. Our approval of the petition. My fiance only received notification of the NOA1. My fiance got a hard copy of the NOA2 3 weeks later after I told him about the approval mail I received by email for our NOA2. Had me worried. What I've noticed is that everyone's times are different. You just need to do what's best according to the time you have. Give it three weeks. Give it two to three weeks. Then start calling NVC to ask if they've received your case. Only NVC will have answers if they've received your case. Good luck!

Good morning, from the Philippines.

After six days of getting "search did not return any data" status every time I checked with the CEAC website, I finally got a status at around 9 last night...that of READY.

So for those who have been experiencing the same, don't fret, give it a day or two. Prayers are sent your way. [-O<

Yay our visa is through the NVC and on its way to the U.S. Embassy in Australia! It was actually sent to Australia two days before I called! That's 25 days after NOA2 notice.

Here's a quick timeline recap:

Sent I-129F: 5/13/2015

NOA1: 5/18. Received in mail on 5/26/2015.

NOA2: 6/26/2015. Received in mail 7/6.

That's 39 Days from 5/18-6/26

Called today 7/23 and was told our visa was sent to embassy two days ago. So roughly 25 to get into NVC and sent to embassy.

The lady told me I could not track the case since it was out of their hands and on way to Australia. Is that correct? What can I do to track it? I have invoice and case #'s.

I used CEAC to try to track but it says "Your search did not return any data." Is that because it's already left?

Appreciate any help. Thanks!
