Yes i got my NOA2 and all. He even got an interview. But they said they need more proof that we are in a relationship so they sent the case back to the dept of state then to uscis. Uscis immigration officer told me they would extend the validity of our petition since it will expire nov 22. Until they reach a decision. But april this year i got a decision saying they didnt review my petition because it expired nov 22.

Why did they need more proof? Did you lack evidence of ongoing relationship? Like messages, phone calls, photos?

I think its not a big deal then. We just got our hardcopy of our NOA1, I hope if ever we get an RFE its something that can easily be fix. Thank you for sharing. God Bless us all

Yes !! And your welcome .. my fiance and I check the papers we make sure everything is complete .. so we talk if we get RFE for sure its just something simple or they need more evidence like more pictures or chat log. Divorce paper dont come in our mind bcos we assume its the final decision already :D

Hello!

Wondering how any other late-May filers are waiting for their NOA2? We received NOA1 with a date of May 28, and it seems others who filed later have received their approval. Have not received a RFE or rejection, which is a positive. Just wondering if others are in the same (stalled) boat.

You're not alone, we received our noa1 on May 28 too, 46 days and still nothing...so frustrating. Hope we'll receive an answer this week. Good luck :)

Hi all!

Sent our petition 5/13/2015

NOA1 received via mail on 5/26/2015 which was dated by them May 18, 2015.

NOA2 received July 6, 2015 which was actually dates June 26, 2015 and says "Approval Notice."

"the above petition has been approved. We have sent the original visa petition to the department of state national visa center. The USCIS has completed all action. The NVC now processes all approved fiancé petition. The NVC processing should be complete within two to four weeks after receiving the petition from USCIS. The be back soon will create a record with your petition information. The NVC will then send the petition to the U.S. Embassy where your fiancé will be interviewed. ..... You should allow a minimum of 30 days for department of state processing before contacting the NVC." Etc.

Has anyone else received this yet?

What do I do now? Thanks!

Thanks!

603-334-0700 is the phone number. You can call now and check to see if its there yet. Some people's file gets there very fast and for others it takes longer. Just luck I guess. I was calling every other day and then every day after 2 weeks. It was driving me crazy!

The line is open from 7 am to 11 pm eastern time. The best time to call is when they first open or closer to when they close. Otherwise, its very hard to get thru to someone.

If your case is there, they transfer you to another line and you have to tell them your fiancee's full name and birthday and then they give you the case number. You can then track it here : https://ceac.state.gov/ceacstattracker/status.aspx

Good luck!!

I agree. Really disheartening. I was the beneficiary on another application two years ago (didn't want to meet another American after it ended with the first guy, but life is funny that way), so I'm wondering if that is causing some sort of delay. It seems that the old application is active even though the petitioner withdrew it and forwarded a letter from USCIS saying it was withdrawn. I almost wish they would RFE us, so that we can just hear something. I hope we both hear something soon. :)

Just called the NVC today and they stated that they received the case today. NOA from the 18th of June. About 24 days it took. I hate calling the number BTW, you have to keep dialing over and over until it starts ringing and then get to stay on hold for 10-20 Minutes before someone answers then it takes another 30 minutes waiting to find out the status.

Anyways, I am happy they have the case it should be headed off to the embassy next week.

Congrats to you both!!

We're still waiting for ours and our NOA2 was June 22. The lady I just spoke to asked about where it was sent. So I said NVC, 32 Rochester Ave, Portsmouth! Do you guys know if this makes any difference to how quick we get a case number? It got me worried now..

Thanks
