Still nothing from NVC. Called just a few minutes ago and they still don't have our case :(

For me this is more nerve racking than waiting for NOA 2. I keep thinking about how cases have been lost or sent to the wrong place in the past :(

I would be happy for an RFE right now. At least they are looking at your case.

Received I129f - May 1, 2015

NOA1 - May 5, 2015 (Email on 6, Harcopy on 9)

NOA2 - July 9 (Email and text)

NOA2 Hardcopy - July 13

NVC Case # Assigned - July 30

Consulate Received - Aug. 3

Medical - Aug. 12 (We passed! Well, almost. She needs to see a psychiatrist on the 28th, which shouldn't be a big issue. She cut her wrist long ago in her teenage years.)

Interview - ??? (Originally Aug. 26, but since she is now required to see a psychiatrist on the 28th, it will be rescheduled, probably sometime in Sept.)

It's still upsetting because this is actually the second time i had to file because they made ne wait for a decision for 150 days then they said after those 150 were done that my petition already expired and i needed to file a new one. I sent the same docs as i sent before plus more and now RFE?

As from what's written on the approval notice, the nvc letter may take up to one month to be delivered. Most say they don't get that letter, or when they actually do, it's way father it's needed. Safest thing to do is start to call at least 2 weeks after approval and get the new case number from them.

We received email that we have RFE July 29 .. anyone knows when do u think we will received our RFE hardcopy in mail ????? how long its takes ?

Probably the same amount of time it took for your noa1 to get to you. For some it's a couple of days, a week, and so on. Assuming you checked your status, you know that it states that if you don't get the actual letter in a months time you should contact them.

Maybe something got lost? Who knows... It happens... A lot of people are getting their RFE's approved quickly so don't worry. Once you send the needed documents it will be smooth

It could be for not ticking a box or something simple like that. Wait for the letter and on the meantime you can check the rfe master list thread to read about what others been through. Being second time filers you should know they are strict and there's not much to do except give them whatever they need from you.
