If USCIS aren't going to schedule an actual AOS Interview and just mail a NPIW letter, does the case status online update to show a change or does it remain unchanged?

Hi there! I just wanna share with you, I have received a Notice of potential interview waiver, but still my case status online is still "fingerprint fee received", nothing has changed. I'm still waiting for updates until now. It's been 7 months, I'm getting stressed waiting for what's next. ?

I got a notice of potential interview waive back in September and then at the end of October a RFE for a new medical (although my K1 medical was submitted 100% completed and would only expire in January). Hope this means that good news are coming for everyone else!

My status remains unchanged but I'll post here when I get any other notices or the card.

Hi sis! May I know which service center you belong? I have received my waiver September also, still waiting for updates until now. Thanks

Congratulations!

Makes me happy since your profile says Saint Paul office...which was taking forever to process until recently :)

Hi! Last time I called to inquire for an update they told me I belong to Saint Paul office too. Is this their normal time frame? It's quite too long. Haha i received my waiver September, still waiting here. ?

Oh wow, you live like ~30 mins from my Hubbys hometown! We actually looked at buying a house there. :wow:

Here's a link for you to check, but Saint Paul is still running behind. https://egov.uscis.gov/cris/processTimesDisplayInit.doScroll to the bottom and put in Saint Paul, and here's what you get.

So hang in there, we're really, really close. The site should update again around Dec 15-17, they update it around there every month. My medical expires tomorrow, so I'm expecting to get an RFE any day now :sleepy:

Little update. My case was approved at my interview on October 22nd and she told me the GC should be here within two months, I know I was impatient but I put in a service request as it has almost hit the two month line, and I had a reply saying that my 'application is currently pending at the Jacksonville field office' (where my interview was). I had the approval notice in the mail but still have not received the welcome letter, and now I'm worried that this journey is still not near completed. I was looking forward to a nice little delivery for Christmas, but now I'm afraid that it could be months until it gets here, especially after reading that most people receive their cards within a few weeks of approval.

Sorry to vent! I'm just looking forward to it getting here so that I can visit my family back home.

Just an update everyone . Got my green card approved on the 8th with no interview and got my green card yesterday. Thanks for everyone's support and hopefully some good news coming to everyone in the new year that's still waiting . This is just half of most of our journeys and hopefully a lot more good news ahead for everyone!

Update,

I travelled to my home country for our grandma's funeral and I intend to return right after the event. I filed back in May and due to Dallas field office backlog I wasn't expecting to hear from them until next year. I just checked my case and saw that it was approved December 16. No waiver notice, no interview. Just case approved!

This is a beautiful surprise :-)
