Hey guys I don't know what happened but yesterday made a post here and it disappeared. Anyway I'm searching for some information similiar like mine, yesterday got a notice that my son's GC being produced and welcome letter sent, but no changes for my case at all since fingerprint, I'm worried how come they approved his case first and mine still didn't!? Has anyone heard smth like that before?

Please need some advice...

Thank you. We did make a service request last week and the outcome was that the application is still processing. We also tried calling and speaking with a tier 2 representative who ended up saying there is nothing more they can tell us. Would you recommend we make another service request?

Have you put in a request with the Ombudsman? http://www.dhs.gov/case-assistance

I called USCIS today as I haven't had any update about my AOS after receiving my EAD and no interview has been scheduled and no letters have arrived. I did read online on the USCIS website that applicants with a K1/K2 status could potentially be identified as interview waiver cases, however I haven't received anything. I spoke with a tier 2 officer and was advised that my case is processing along and it should take between 6 months to a year for an outcome on my case based on my location. I was advised that by month 8 I should receive some notice/ update from USCIS and as of today the San Fernando Valley local office are processing cases from March 10th, so hopefully within the next few months I should hear something.

Ok, so I got the potential interview waiver letter a while back, and this week I just got an RFE for a new medical... My Medical only expires mid January. I don't get it... Anyone experience this? Anyway, I got an appointment for 2 weeks from now and then I'll mail them back. I'm bummed.

If your DS3025 was not marked complete then you may have some vaccs missing.

So guys, I got my son's GC in the mail today, called USCIS and asked abt my case, they said it's still pending, have to wait more and be patient....

Hey everyone I've only just found this forum, but me and my husband sent our package off in May 2015. My EAD came in exactly 3 months and 1 day, we had our interview yesterday (October 22nd) and we were approved! Congrats to everyone else who's also at this point, and stay hopeful to those who are still waiting!

The interview went really smooth, we arrived about an hour early (Jacksonville office) and were told we couldn't check in until 20 mins before, but luckily they actually saw us early and the whole thing only took about ten minutes. She took us to the office and swore us both in, only asked to see my birth certificate, our marriage certificate and proof that we lived together, didn't even look at the photos or the massive folder of stuff I took in! She asked me all the questions from the i485, asked us if we'd been married before or had any kids, then asked my husband how he proposed how we met and about our wedding. She then had us sign the approval letter and said to expect GC in two months. I see some peoples cards came in about a week, I really don't want to wait two months because I haven't been home to England in a year and a half, had the email today saying that my welcome letter was sent, but just want some feedback of when other people had their cards delivered!

Congrats on getting you're ead! Where I'm at I still haven't managed to find a job, so good luck with finding employment! I knew I should have done the AP but I decided that I needed to be with my husband while it was all getting processed, but now I just really want to travel so that I can see my family and friends. I'll keep you all updated on when my card gets here, but this forum has been SO helpful and I'm so thankful that it exists to compare progress! For all those still waiting, be patient, it just proves that we have to work for what we want and that nothing is impossible when you have true love

Can you maybe ask for your AP or maybe when your GC will get to you

I got the AP in case the GC would take a lot longer and there would be a family emergency for which I would have to travel outside ouf the country.

Finding a job is hard lately, I found a lot before but less now. Maybe you can look into seasonal jobs? A lot of stores and warehouses are hiring during this season. This could allow you to start working and make money (+build a credit) until you find a job you like more or are more qualified for? That's my plan lol

Recieved my EAD 3 weeks ago and starting my job on Tuesday! It didn't take me long to find one :-) so excited to be able to give my kids soon more... Mind you I have been a stay at home mom for 15 years! I am excited even tho it's not my dream job but this will get us started... :-) can't wait to see what the future holds :-). Good luck to everyone!
