I too feel like it's just too much stress on us...everything we have to wait for because although they approve the ead I still have go to wait at least 2 weeks to even expect it in my mailbox

I agree that we are being tested, but it's nothing we can't handle ;)

2 weeks will go by fast ;) I wish I had 2 weeks to wait lol.

Did you adjust from a K1 visa? If so, at least we get to be with our loved ones :)

Try using these 2 weeks the best you can, you might want to enjoy this time without work or you could apply to as many as you can, get interviews and maybe by the time you get your EAD you can sign a contract ;)

Don't let it stress you out too much; you'll get it in just a few days :)

So it's not gonna be easy.

It's going to be really hard;

we're gonna have to work at this everyday,

but I want to do that because I want you.

I want all of you, forever, everyday.

I overstayed my visa so I'm here with him but I need a life outside of this house,I know the neighbours routine just by being in this house lol

I know exactly how you feel, I've been here 8months, applied for AOS and EAD 4 months ago and still nothing. After 8 months my savings are gone and I'm limited in what I can do. I just try to find something to do every day : workout, walking around the neighborhood, watching new TV shows or movies, applying to jobs (I apply to at least 10 jobs every week), I've done certifications (paid less than $50), Diy things I find on Pinterest,...

I try to keep myself busy. I know exactly how you feel, I've been here 8 months without being able to work and going to college without a green card is just ridiculously expensive, even community college. Try to do the best of your time. Do you have people you can chat with maybe? Or you could 'build' little things pr do something to help out your man. It's just small ideas to make time pass :)

I've recently started learning Spanish online (for free), it keeps busy and is a + for jobs.

What state are you in? Where you got the certification done?

I'm in Tennessee.

I did the certifications online, I found them through groupon.com and I received my cards home after completing the tests. They have various certifications for a lower fee.

hang in there tight, it's for soon :)

Especially without an RFE, I don't think it'll go past 120days.

If I remember right you're close to the 120days mark. I do believe you will have an answer before the end of the week or over the weekend. If you still don't, I personally think that you should contact your senator's office.

Friday marks 120 days... I haven't heard anything nor my Lawyer..... This sucks!

I just want to shout 'that's not fair' in a little girl voice, because that's how it makes me feel especially in your case without a RFE! BUTI hope to get an update from you before or by friday! :)

I am beyond ready for this stuff. Sadly I haven't even gotten the EAD update. .... So discouraged

I know exactly what you feel. Long waits can be very frustrating and discouraging especially when you cannot have any clear explanation as to why your EAD/AP application is taking too long to process. Atlease when you receive an RFE (like me) you will know what they exactly need from you. But without RFE that is a huge question mark.

I hope when they review your applications they will approve and give you your Green Card right away for all the troubles and anxiety they caused you and your family. All the best Mami. Please keep us posted.

I'm at day 59.. We have to wait 90 days? And then if there's still no response, what do we do?

No, we have to wait up to 90 days, some get their approval/denial a lot sooner than that. A few in this thread also had RFE and already received it.

If it's past 75days you can request an inquiry and again when you are past 90days.

I am in contact with the senator's office, they can only inquiry my case once it's outside of normal processing, so after 90days. I'm pretty sure if we do go past 90days, they'll tell us to wait 120days :sleepy:

I hope we will all get it soon :)
