I received my EAD card today in the mail! :D

"My Case Was Received" May 18th
"My New Card Is Being Produced" August 26th
"My Case Was Approved" August 26th
"My Card Was Mailed To Me" August 28th
Received it in the mail today, September 1st

The status still reads "My Card Was Mailed To Me", but I have it in hand :D

Hope everyone who is still waiting receives theirs soon!

Waiting to skip ROC and get 10 yr GC due to over 2 year while pending AOS
AOS APPROVED Oct. 4, 2017 * Green card in hand Oct 13, 2017 !!!!!

First K1 denied after 16 month of AP. Refiled. We are a couple since 2009. Not a sprint but a matter of endurance.

I sent a service request to have my address change on August 26 and the same day it was assigned to an officer for response. Now i log in I see it has been assigned August 31 which is weird because it had said August 26. I really hope this does no delay my case because I have moved to a new state and fear they would put me at the back of the line....

Im hoping all these touches means they are searching for an appointment date for me seeing I have been ready for interview since June 22

DMV was a good experience today, hubby got his driving permit with the state ID and drove around town a little for the icing on his birthday cake :goofy:

just wanna ask how long did you wait for the SSA to update her ssn with the name change and how soon did you get the new card? i went to SSA the 20th for the name change and then had a job interview the 21st and got hired however, on the 25th when the company did the background check i was told they cant verify my SSN (which i explained to them probably because the ssn is still on my maiden name)...im just glad job wont be starting until the 14th of september but im really worried coz i haven't received anything from SSA til now.

Have the same situation, applied Aug.20th, the said it may take up to 4 weeks to varify me with name change. Guess have to wait hopefully will be sooner that that.....

We got her updated card about a week later.

We've been through this and had the same thing... Companies are unable to do a check on the SSN and verify it if the SSN was issued after June 25th, 2011.

We got her updated card about a week later.

We've been through this and had the same thing... Companies are unable to do a check on the SSN and verify it if the SSN was issued after June 25th, 2011.

You can also search around here and google and find many topics about it.

It should also say something in the background report for reasons why it may not be able to validate the SSN, I know it does if it's through HireRight.

it was done by GIS (General Information Svcs) and yes it say ss # xxx-xxx-xxxx may have been issued as part of the SSA Randomization program. Please work with the candidate directly to validate authenticity.

07/13/2015 - Biometric letter arrived mail box. Date 07/24/2015

07/24/2015 - Biometric done. One month mark

08/29/2015 - EAD approved

09/03/2015 - EAD card mailed

09/04/2015 - EAD approval mail in mail box

09/08/2015 - EAD card received.

09/09/2015 - Applied for SSN.

09/15/2015 - Got my SSN in the mail

04/14/2015 - Update online: Your interview has been scheduled for 05/19

Sept. 21 Interview, 2 hour interview, we were separated and asked about 50 questions each for an hour each. IO was firm but professional, some smiles.
Several service requests made, contacted Senator and Ombudsman. Background checks still pending.
July 21, 2017 HOME VISIT.  Went well. Topic thread in AOS forum.
Waiting to skip ROC and get 10 yr GC due to over 2 year while pending AOS
AOS APPROVED Oct. 4, 2017 * Green card in hand Oct 13, 2017 !!!!!

First K1 denied after 16 month of AP. Refiled. We are a couple since 2009. Not a sprint but a matter of endurance.
