To those who read my post yesterday...

I called USCIS to ask when I should expect the approval letter and I found out that I am not approved yet.

I have no idea why they gave the senator's office a wrong information.

I just feel like a train run me over. Being all happy to then be disappointed again, I cannot wait for all this immigration process to be over! They're making it hard for us! USCIS please allow us to enjoy our first year as newlyweds without so much stress and worries!

Hey Did you speak to a tier 2? The teir 1 agents dont see the most updated information. They see what we see online. Teir 2 is much better to speak with

Yes I asked for a Tier 2 Agent after the Tier 1 told me to call back after September 5th.

To those who read my post yesterday...

Perhaps the person who told you that you were not approved is wrong. Call again and talk to a tier 2....or another tier 2.

We have been locked out of the account due to "too much checking".

Waiting to skip ROC and get 10 yr GC due to over 2 year while pending AOS
AOS APPROVED Oct. 4, 2017 * Green card in hand Oct 13, 2017 !!!!!

First K1 denied after 16 month of AP. Refiled. We are a couple since 2009. Not a sprint but a matter of endurance.

The lovely lady from the senator's office did a mistake with a number and got the update of an other case.. probably one of the hundreds after me (yup, been checking those too lol)

I should have waited before writing on here yesterday but I was just too excited and I believed it was really happening. I shared my joy with the family... I don't even know how to explain them that I was wrong. I'm just going to be quiet until they ask again lol

Well, I hope they will see how often you check it ! I mean , seriously? You applied 89days ago right? Tomorrow is your 90th day and I know you will have something ! I cannot wait to call next Tuesday !

Hello May filers.

We were happy to find out my EAD case was approved on the fourth of august and we got the approval notice in the mail but our

AOS case status page has not been updated since May 21 it says still Fingerprint Fee Was Recieved. My biometrics were taken on June 12.

Should we be calling to find out what is happening with the case?

OMG OMG OMG!!!!! So I just called and spoke with tier 2, after a nice discussion...I think I got the best immigration officer in all my calls to USCIS. She told me the same story about the system change bla bla bla. Anyways we chatted and we started laughing, the conversation was real good. She basically TRANSFERED me to her manager!!! YES I CAN NOT BELIEVE IT MYSELF!!!!!!! I ended up speaking with the tier 2 manager and she told me she would check into my case and I swear as soon as I hang up I got this email.

On August 11, 2015, we mailed your new card for Receipt Number MSCXXXXXXXXXX, to the address you gave us. If you do not receive your card by September 10, 2015, please go to www.uscis.gov/e-request to request that we send your new card to you. If you move, go towww.uscis.gov/addresschange to give us your new mailing address.

EAD/AP (renewal) approval Aug 22, 2016, NOA2 received Aug 25, 2016

Renewal EAD in production notification text and online, expedite successful 4 days after RFE request response was faxed, Aug25mailed,Aug29received.

Sept. 21 Interview, 2 hour interview, we were separated and asked about 50 questions each for an hour each. IO was firm but professional, some smiles.
Several service requests made, contacted Senator and Ombudsman. Background checks still pending.
July 21, 2017 HOME VISIT.  Went well. Topic thread in AOS forum.
Waiting to skip ROC and get 10 yr GC due to over 2 year while pending AOS
AOS APPROVED Oct. 4, 2017 * Green card in hand Oct 13, 2017 !!!!!

First K1 denied after 16 month of AP. Refiled. We are a couple since 2009. Not a sprint but a matter of endurance.

She told me the same story about the system change bla bla bla. Anyways we chatted and we started laughing, the conversation was real good. She basically TRANSFERED me to her manager!!! YES I CAN NOT BELIEVE IT MYSELF!!!!!!! I ended up speaking with the tier 2 manager and she told me she would check into my case and I swear as soon as I hang up I got this email.

May 31/15 - Sent AOS/EAD/AP to USCIS

June 4/15 - Email and text notifications they were recieved

June 10/15 - NOA1 for AOS/EAD/AP Dated June 1

June 17/15- Change of address confirmation

June 22/15- Biometrics appointment received

July 1/15- Biometrics appointment done(5 minute appointment, 8 hour round trip drive <_< )

August 5/15 - Change of address submitted for new location

August 8/15 - Mobile/E-mail notifications for approved EAD/AP :)

August 17/15 - Change of address confirmation after calling in

August 17/15 - EAD/AP Combo card mailed out(To the wrong address, and then lost by USPS)

September 3/15 - Contacted USCIS and was told to re-apply with a new application and fees?! Put in a service request online for lost card, and a complaint

September 8/15 - USPS found & returned card to USCIS

September 15/15 - Ombudsman contacted USCIS

September 17/15 - Card mailed back out

September 19/15 - EAD/AP Combo card finally in hand

September 22/15 - NPIW letter received, dated September 9/2015 estimated 6 month wait

October 13-21/15 - Traveled using AP to visit parents & ship the rest of our belongings out west

November 27-30/15 - Traveled using AP

December 28/15- RFE hard copy, waiting on documents from Canada

January 31-February 7/16 - Traveled using AP

February 10/16 - Sent in RFE, delivered Feb 16

April 16/16 - Service request filed, RFE was never updated online

May 12 - Approved email and status update dated May 10. Service request never was assigned or solved, though.
