How long from now til we get interview notice?

It entirely depends on your local office, but it could take months. Don't hold your breath! This part of the process will probably take a while. The Denver office has processing times for almost a year...

If you get an interview waiver letter, usually around 6 months or so, you will have the GC 12-14 month from filing. An interview is sooner 4-6 months and

you receive the GC shortly thereafter.

I rather wait a year than going through another interview. Sick of interviews.

Having the interview. Those who have to do the interview usually have to wait 6-10 months before getting their green card (I think, less than a year though). Those with a waiver often have to a year or more (just check out the waiver thread to get an idea of that s-show).

I just want the process to be done with! all this waiting time and waivers and documents being sent and waiting for a reply, then going to interviews makes it hard on our time. But I agree an interview will be faster and we get to be done with AOS for 2 years, then its on to ROC after

Got back from DMV took us 20min without an appt and was able to renew state ID card for my fiancée. Only needed to show proof of EAD card and old state ID card. She took a new pic and new ID will arrive in 2 weeks.

It's been over a week my online status is stuck on "Case Approved". I called USCIS and tier 2 officer advised that the card was sent to the printer on the same day (July 29). I still haven't received any notice that the card has been mailed. Is this normal?

My case was approved on 07/28/2015 but still on that status, we all r waiting for cards, normally card is taking from 11-14 days :-)

That makes me feel alot better. I was a bit worried because I have seen people in other forums where the status got stuck for a month and no card was sent. I am also trying to keep track of NY filers whose I-485 is ready to be schedule for an interview. Mine has been ready for almost 2 months but no date yet . Hopefully soon, if it's one thing Ive learned during this whole process is that I have become more patient than normal.

I, myself, had never realized how impatient I am until this process, Every day checking the forum and case status for any changes and it's quite stressful but we still need to keep hope. Hopefully May filers case will be done sooner or later because for myself I just keep thinking about it and I want to clear my mind off it

If it has been passed 90 days i suggest you give USCIS a call to receive some information about your case, by this time May filers should have recieved EAD confirmation here is a link to an online service https://egov.uscis.gov/e-Request/Intro.do hope you good luck and find information you are looking for
