hello fellow May filers

I would like to share my timeline

May 18--- sent out notice

May 20 ---- USCIS got my I-765, I-130, and i-485

May 23 --- I get a notice date for my Biometrics scheduled 06/08/2015

June 8 --- got some complication with identification since my passport was expired. Luckily we were still able to get biometrics done that day

July 10 --- the case status update that my EAD has been approve

July 22 --- I manage to get EAD, however i am unable to get SSN because a valid foreign passport is required

Now it is the waiting game for my i 485 and i 130 and waiting for interview notice.

My question for everyone here is has any may filers received their interview date?

I think some May filers had already received update that says 'Ready to Schedule for Interview' but are still waiting for interview date.

It's been 95 days for me.. Did you call USCUS everyday? Lol what action should we do after 90days?

Call them and make a service request or ask to speak to a tier 2 IO.

you should be able to get your ssn with ead card and passport expired or not.

I applied for ssn with expired passport and ead.

there was no problem. try somewhere else.

95 DAYS I think you should contact the USCIS

https://egov.uscis.gov/e-Request/Intro.do here a website where you can contact them

If I were you I would state that you feel that your case is out of processing time and you would like to inquire about your postion/ get an update

Really I tried going to my local one and they stated that my passport is invalid because it was out of date, we tried to explain that situation but all they could argue was a valid passport is the only thing allowed, appearantly my ead, expired passport and brith certificate wasn't enough , No problem I am requesting on getting a new passport anyways hopefully next time i try i can get a SSN

i am sorry about that.

i would have requested to speak to a supervisor.

even the requirement on their site says, ead can be accepted as 2way form of identity but you should provide another id along side it.

my guess is different state operate differently.

Yes, you can only file one service request at a time.

just an update for those who are expecting an interview. I went yesterday for my interview, it was friendly and smooth interview. I got approved on site and received welcome notice in my E-Mail after few hours the same day. Wish the best for all!
