I just got a bunch a text and emails from USCIS!!! Omg JOY!!!! The travel & work permit said name change updated (whiiiiiiich is weird bcuz i never requested a name change) then right after it sent another text and email stating my travel document is approved but my work permit is saying "name change updated". Should i call or did anyone experience this?

We have almost the same timeline, only i had my bio appointment on the 26th of June...i am hoping i would see changes on my status though...a bit worried coz i haven't seen any changes on the date at all...the first and only update online was 06/01/15

Many of us have seen one of the two updated on USCIS' website, but not both. For me, the work permit (EAD) has a status of approved, while the AP/travel permit hasn't changed since NOA1. Since it is a combo card, I figure both are approved...

The same thing happened to me. EAD got approved.

1st message was that the card was ordered for production, AP no change.

2nd Message EAD got approved.

3rd Message AP got approved.

4th Message EAD combo card was mailed

5th Message EAD combo was delivered

My theory on the name change is that perhaps the I-94 showed a slightly different name 'arrangement' or left some letters off when it was

entered from the passport (the system can only print so many letters) and it has now been corrected.

You should get more notifications soon about card in production so I wouldn't call right now.

Thanks Alot everyone. When I called Tier 2 officer about 2 weeks ago they told me that my 485 was in queue to be schedule for interview but I have not recieved any updates on website or mail about it

The tracking states that the address was "undeliverable" but I've received all my USCIS correspondence so far at the address provided. Not sure who to call, USCIS or USPS.

Hi my case is still pending since April 27 it's been 93days. I called USCIS yesterday then they did service request. Now there's still no update and I called them up again asking to be transferred to tier 2 but the girl said they don't do that anymore. The rep said if I want to speak with an immigration officer I need to set an appointment on line. Is there anyone with the same situation? Or time line?

Since they send it priority mail I'm guessing you need to be there to give a signature. I lived somewhere where the doorbell was broken, just stuck up a piece of paper on the front door to say so and to knock really loudly! It worked.

An update on my situation: just spent an hour making phone calls to see what happened. Phone calls to USPS basically informed me that the letter was sent to the wrong post office. They sent it to Boulder and not Longmont (which is where my post code is) and for some unknown reason after the failed attempt yesterday they didn't forward it to the correct post office. The USPS person emailed the post office to say forward the letter, don't send it back because you messed up essentially...but if I don't see an update to my tracking information within 3 days then I can presume that it got sent back.

I decided that because it's a letter from USCIS it probably did get sent back, I've heard that they don't forward mail from USCIS it has to be delivered to the correct address, so acting under the presumption that it's on its way back to USCIS I called them up to say can they resend my card. Apparently you can do this online by filling out a form, but I rang them instead and got a referral ID number. They said that the process should happen soon, but I have to wait the standard 30 days before inquiring about where it is if I don't hear from them. I'll get an email and perhaps a notice in the mail to say that my card is going to be re-sent to me.

Overall, I blame USPS. *sigh*

I hope that is not the case because no one will be home if they try to deliver the mail with EAD as my spouse and I are working Mon-Fri

Earlier today I got an update about "name change" on USCIS website. Just keeping you guys informed, incase someone else encounters this issue. After several hours I just received another text message with my EAD now showing "Case Approved"
