Also power of attorney, wills, living wills.....

They want co mingled bank account statements from inception of marriage, not just 2 or 3.
Any financial co mingles proof and showing a co mingled married life.

I think it's outrageous that some are still waiting for their AOS after 1.5year, I hope they will get the 10 year GC directly!

I will be able to submit my documentation for the I-751 ROC end August. Let's hope it will go smoothly and it won’t get more expensive.

I will provide the following copies to show a bona fide relationship:

-bills (utilities, phone bills) these have different names, but the same address

-Rental lease and deed for a house (if we buy before it’s time to file)

-Credit card statement (we are both users)

-Joint bank account statement

-Car insurance

-401K and Roth IRA beneficiaries

-W2 and joint tax returns (2015 and 2016)

-Proof of vacations taken together (only for one trip : flight itineraries, payments, pictures)

-Pictures with both our families

I won't be filing for ROC until February 2018, but I am conscious of the evidence they need. I've asked friends many a time to take a "green card" picture of my husband and I together to prove we really are in relationship! I'm planning on taking:

- Pictures of us on vacations together + pictures of us with each others families/friends

- Passport copies of stamps given on our trips abroad showing we travelled together 

- Flight itineraries with both our names on as passengers

- Joint bank account statements

- Tax returns showing we filed jointly

- Car titles with both of our names on it

- Health insurance/car insurance with both of our names on

- His 401k plan with me as a beneficiary 

- Utlities...though at the moment only his name is on them so I might see if I can get added to one just for appearance sake. If that's too much hassle then I have a phone bill that's in my name at this address so it should prove I live here too!

- Lease for our apartment with both our signatures on for 2 years running

- A bit of a weird one but a screenshot of our Facebook friendship page showing we have 95 friends in common and have been friends on there since 2007. 

 

I think that's about all I can think of for now! I think that SHOULD be enough I'd hope.

Ugh, how awful that you're still waiting. Fingers crossed that 10 year card comes to you soon.

Gathering docs now will make it a lot easier for those of us that have to file later this year. As long as we are proactive and have good evidence for support we should all have ROC approvals. Looks like average timeframe from NOA 1 to approvals are about 6-12 months from looking at Igors list.

ROC takes about 12+ months currently for many here, Igors list is not very accurate. Some are still waiting after 18 months.

We are still waiting for the green card, filed May 2015, had interview Sept 2016, contacted tier 2, made several service requests

and answer is always the same, we are in background checks. Contacted Ombudsman, it will be about 2-3 months before I expect an

answer from them, the same answer actually that we are in background checks and to wait the proverbial 60 days !

Just a quick update over the weekend we got a letter from USCIS a reminder letter regarding filing for our ROC I-751. Have any of you guys gotten a letter to file for ROC yet?

Quick question, regarding I-171 removal of condition, Do i need to submit affidavit sworn by 2 people? Or not necessarrily?

Not necessary if you have plenty of other co mingled and especially financial co mingled evidence.
Check the ROC guide for a list of items you can use.

I got the letter from uscis regarding filing or ROC and the affidavit sworn by 2 people is not listed on the paper they sent me for evidence, however on the USCIS website it says on number 5 that i needed to submit.

It states :
 

The documents should include, but are not limited to, the following "examples"

Examples do not indicate a requirement. You can if you wish to but will not have any problems if you choose to
include plenty of other items. They like financial bank statements showing co mingled activity from the inception
of marriage by the way, that and other evidence in the ROC guide list are fine. If you don't have a lot then
include the affidavits as secondary evidence.
