So we are trying to expedite my husband's AP (work/family-related trip coming up in 1 month). He called the 1-800 number today and they took his information and said that someone will be contacting him between 5-30 days with regards to the AP. 30 days makes me worried =((((

Doing some research on the forum to see what that 5-30 days actually means...

Hi everyone! I sent my AOS May 15th, and was received on May 19th, got my NOA's 2 days ago and now I'm waiting for my biometrics appointment, I'm adjusting from a b2 visa, hopefully this is a fast and easy process for all of us ^_^

You can make an infopass at your local USCIS office and provide proof of a true emergency (illness, death etc) to get a faster emergency

AP. Work related is not a true emergency.

July 21, 2017 HOME VISIT.  Went well. Topic thread in AOS forum.
Waiting to skip ROC and get 10 yr GC due to over 2 year while pending AOS
AOS APPROVED Oct. 4, 2017 * Green card in hand Oct 13, 2017 !!!!!

First K1 denied after 16 month of AP. Refiled. We are a couple since 2009. Not a sprint but a matter of endurance.

Hi Ebunoluwa, they also have the "severe financial loss" as a category for AP expedite, which is our case (a noticeable amount of money went into organizing the business part of the trip and a lot of people involved). I am hoping to hear from USCIS in the next few days, if not - will definitely go with the info pass option!

Ours was stamped also on our walk in. I didn't realize it was until you mentioned yours was.

I asked them how can I proof that I was there and she said we are in the system but the stamp definitely shows we were there.

Always good to have proof yourself and don't rely on their system lol.

Yep, now things will slow down again.
