Well, I have to admit: obsessed with CEAC post interview! :crying:

The status date updated every day since interview (05-27-15) but not the case creation date nor the content of message (still the same pre interview "ready"). :(

So obviously they touch the file every day but the status doesn´t change.

Hopefully they don´t have a system glitch and visa status appears "issued" soon.

Hey guys!

I haven't been on here in a while because life has been crazy busy. My wife had her interview on May 21st in Rio and she was approved! Which is of course awesome. However, we had the wrong police certificate at the interview and tho we sent them the correct one the same day, we are now in Administrative Processing. We have plane tickets for next weekend (yeah yeah you're not supposed to - but we did it anyway), and it states on the status check site that "This processing can take several weeks," which is freaking me out!

I know most people on here are pre-interview, but does anyone know about administrative processing? How long does it actually take? We are so close to being done (Finally!) and I'm terrified that it's all going to be ruined by this one little hang up.

With your kind of AP it's all dependent on how long it takes them to process the document they were missing. No one can say how long. Could be days to weeks.

Do not worry it's normall. My status was "ready" for 6 days, then went to AP for couple of hours ( so don't worry if you see an AP) and then to "issued"

Oh yeah...congratulations!!!!:)

Thank you! :)

Yes, I know it could take some days. But other Germans who had their interview within a few days of ours got the CEAC status change to issued the same day of interview! :crying: So that give me the idea that there might be something wrong with the visa getting issued especially since they touched the file every day since interview.

Guys, Is this a normal trend to not have interview scheduled in the last week of the month. There has been no significant updates in the excel sheet especially in the last week of May 2015 as compared to the April 2015 schedule. Looks like the non immigrant visa applications are coming in at high volume especially for student visas? Looks like the earliest appointment i can find in ustraveldocs.com is August 7th for immigrant visa for Mumbai consulate. Did anyone received the Interview letter for Mumbai consulate especially for July or surprisingly all of them who received the letter are not VJ member's?

On a average for April and May the consulate is processing 700+ immigrant visa applications and there is no significant update for July interview schedule.

Yes its normal. Don't look at non-immigrant dates. That's has nothing to do with you. Every embassy has their selected slots for how many Immigrant interviews they will have coming up in July, August, So hopefully you will be one of them.

Not having dates announced last week of month is not uncommon it all depends. It could be happening and just the few here aren't in the queue selected. I am sure next week good news will be heard for many here.

http://mumbai.usconsulate.gov/immigrant_visas.html

Click on the link and on the right hand corner there is a link for Interview appointment Schedule under Interview preparation. I did the same for Delhi consulate and counted the applications per month and it averaged about 700+ in each consulate. Well to start with i noticed that interview dates are being random and no priority for date or category they fall in.

Hi everyone,

Shout out to the Canadians and the MTL filers here: I got a case complete on May 12, and the confirmation email on May 19. I haven't yet received an interview date, and when calling the NVC, they said none has been set yet.

I read here and there that interviews are often scheduled in the last week/first week of the month.

Are there any other MTL filers out there with CC in May but with no interview yet? I just want to ensure I am not the only one!

Thanks
