Question, on the AoS do my husband need to submit all original proof of income such as irs transcript, pay stubs etc?? And will he send me some copies of it too so I can bring it during the interview? Just wanna clear this things before we start working on it. Thanks. Hoping for your response. God speed!

After. Usually a day or two after the interview date is assigned. Time to read the last few parts in the NVC wiki ;)

This is their standard response. I got the same email however a CC within 24 days. So just keep the faith! Good luck! :)

Hi everyone,

Just wanted to check if this is a typical correspondence from NVC at this time:

I got an email from the NVC saying they received my documents on April 27 (the day I emailed my AOS and IV packages) and that they are receiving an increased number of approved petitions from the USCIS and that I should expect at least 60 days for the review of my documents.

Given that lately the NVC said 45 days and people here have reported review times of ~21 days, is this ok? I mean, is the NVC suddenly seeing an increase in documents to review?

Thanks!

I am the beneficiary- Spouse (Sri Lankan citizen) to a US citizen

In my case, yes. I can't say for anyone else, but that was my experience. It was very quick and very easy. The agent told me that the IV fee would be released in about a week, and that I'd be sent an email about what to do to pay it etc. I called Thursday to review my DS-261, and my IV fee has yet to be invoiced. :clock:

hello thank you , what about if you do not call them ?! Are they going to review DS-261 by themselves ? Or other process , since I am going to be out of country , it is going to be very hard for me to contact them from my country and also very expensive to stay on the line for 30 40 minutes .

Yes, they will review it on their own without your intervention. The wait is about 30 days after you submit your DS-261. When people call to get it reviewed it's because they're trying to speed up the process, but you don't need to call at all if you're willing to wait a bit longer.

The guy said my case is not complete yet, that there is a package that have not been reviewed that they have onliy reviewed IV package and that AOS has not been reviewed. He also said to wait 30 days since April 20th.

I sent both packages together.
