Hi again Iri,

This morning I called about my case (scan date April 21) and it still hadn't been reviewed. The rep flagged it for supervisor review without me asking him to do so, and said that it might take up to 42 days to look at. I don't know if you've got your CC since then, but I thought I would update you on what's happening with me. Last time I was under supervisor review it only took about 2 or 3 days for my case to get looked at, so I'm hoping that I won't have to wait a whole month and a half to hear back.

the three of us are just the same. My case use put under supervisor review without me asking the guy to do it. That was May 15th. Well this morning I called and the girl said ur case is on last review so I ask how long would it take she said maybe the end of thia week it will be done. I asked her if then I would be able to speak directly with a supervisor and she said Yes. Well if it is not completed by this week on Monday I will be calling to speak with a supervisor, In a Dominican Forum I saw someone who did the same. He kept on calling and askibg for a supervisor and they always said there was not Supervisor available he didn't stop calling and finally a rep put him thru a supervisor and he opened the file and reviewed the ds-260 immediately and updates the page su he could se 3 N/A. Let's hope this week we have great News.

the whole process is a torture and its getting harder and harder for me to hang in there, i was checking the ceac site every couple minutes yesterday, this cant be normal, not opening the site today

hope the supervisor somehow picks our cases today and we will wake up to a CC tomorrow!

*iri*, I completely understand how you feel, and if what you're doing isn't normal, then I'm also not normal I also log onto the CEAC site too many times a day to count - I'm starting to feel like a stalker! And then every time I see PAID and not N/A under the AOS, I feel so deflated. So like you I've only checked once today, but my palms are itching to check again! And then after this we have to go through the next stage of torture = waiting for an interview date. But when I remember that last year this time we had only just filed our I-130 a month ago, then I am relieved that so much of the waiting is already behind us. One of these days you will be posting that you got your CC and everything will change on this horrid rollercoaster we are all riding. You are not alone!

Saylin Please help: If I did not file for 2014 tax return yet ( I filed an extension), what number should I put on AOS form Part 6 Item 13a.1 ? Please...Should I put 0 there?

Well I dont believe what reps says at all. I don't believe my case will be complete by Friday as she said. My scan date is April 20th and look still no CC. Well I will keep up to date on my case. Good Luck to you all guys.

Trying to decide if its worth the hour on hold again to find our nothing about my case.

SD Apr 24 and DS-260 May 1st.

i believe i'm going to get a checklist and want to get it already so i can sort it out its driving me insane.

should i just wait till Monday when DS-260 is at 31 days?

any thoughts lol

Why do you believe you're going to get a checklist? For what? I'm actually on hold right now to speak to a rep (just couldn't wait another day)! SD May 8th.

Stupidly sent in the short version of my birth cert, didn't read the info correctly. Hoping the just ask me to bring it to interview so we don't have to wait 30 more days for one piece of paper.

A short one? I didnt even know that there are more than 1 versions.

I read in a embassy review from a fellow VJ-er that they asked for an international birth certificate, whatever the hell that means.

Only thing that NVC states about this document is that it should be in English or the language of your country of origin. Otherwise translate it.

When there is an issue with your file or you are well beyond normal processing times, an agent can flag your case for supervisor review. It means that someone "higher up" is going to look into the issue you're having and fix it.

My case has now been under supervisor review twice. The first time was because my IV fee did not appear after my DS-261 was reviewed because my file had an EP lock placed on it, requiring a supervisor override, and now this time it's under supervisor review because my scan date is 04/21 and my files have still not been reviewed (36 days when they quote 30). In general, you don't want your case to be reviewed by a supervisor, because it means something is wrong - so if you haven't heard about it, consider yourself lucky.

In the UK there are two types which I was unaware of the short version the parents get when you are registered and the long version you have to pay extra for at a later date, which has both parents names on. I didn't look at the repocity by country correctly and I missed it.
