Hello everyone! Our DS261 was reviewed by the NVC on May 14, 42 days after I completed it. The NVC sent our IV Fee invoice yesterday but couldn't access their site for the ds260.

Hi

I just saw the Magical 3rd NA :)

My story: The NVC did not invoice the IV fee as fast as we expected, so my documents were reviewed before paying the fee, as a result we got a checklist. After calling , they said that we have to wait for the ds260 to be reviewed to get a case complete.

So we submitted it on april 1st and we have been waiting since then.

we called monday, and the rep put our case in supervisor review. Today, I found 3NA.

I wish all of you the best of luck !!!

Hello everyone, I submitted my DS261 on 4/14. I have called the NVC many times and they tell me they cannot review it over the phone because I chose an agent that is not me nor my spouse. Is that correct? Has anyone had luck having them review your 261 over the phone when the chosen agent is not the petitioner or the beneficiary?

On the other hand, what is the agent for? I find it completely useless.

I called NVC again this week, spoke to a different person. This person said it takes 30 days to review the DS-260. So one of them gave me the wrong info. I really hope it was the former and they will finish this up in 30 days...

Hi, look my both packages are reviewed and everything is fine. Just waiting for ds-260 review which they say takes 30 days. Well last Friday a CS put my ds-260 under supervisor review today I called to ask if have CC and the girl said they guy who put my ds-260 under SR was mistaken cuz he thought my ds-260 was overtime so thats why he put it under SR. She said you submitted ur ds-260 on April 29th so that supervisor review won't take place cuz still havent passed the 30 days. I just could say OK she was in a really bad mood. And said your ds-260 will Be review normally. I will really stop calling and just wait to see 3 N/A or CC letter cuz they always say something different.

My SD is April 20th. So today I am on my 30/30 and no CC yet.

Hi.

I got CC on May 15th. My SD was March 40th and we received two checklists. I'm waiting for the letter now, confirming the CC. Does anyone have an idea how long it takes to scheduled a Montreal interview? Our one year for thid will be Sept 25th, 2015.

Congrats!

My CC date is 5/18 and I called this morning... long shot I know but no interview scheduled yet.... Montreal seems to schedule in two batches - approx the first and third weeks of the month..... I've gone though Dweel's CC to Interview spreadsheet and it looks like we will probably hear something the first week of June for a July interview :P

Best wishes!!

Please keep me posted if you hear something!!

I received instructions from NVC. And I got this error on the payment site

Sign In Failed
The selected Case Number and Invoice Identification Number combination you entered do not match our records. Please try again or click on the Contact the NVC hyperlink if you have forgotten your Case Number or Invoice Identification Number.

Is that what everyone else is getting?

I am thinking of going to post office, and just doing money order transfer.

Good idea? Bad idea?

Priya - does it say that the document will need to be brought to your interview?? I've seen that happen a few times.... someone gets a checklist after their CC but the wording is a little different....

Keeping fingers crossed for you!!

Their system has been really wonky lately...... there's the obvious - double check the info you're trying to enter (yeah I know....).... You're going to want/need access to that system so I'd suggest calling them to confirm your case number and IIN are correct.... could also be that if they were assigned to you recently, the nvc system isn't up-to-date and ready to accept them...... but I'd probably vote for calling.....

Good luck!!

NVC received my I-130 on May 11th, is it REALLY taking them 4 weeks to process the case numbers? I'm calling every day, as people here seem to have had luck doing so, but they keep telling me 4 weeks - do you guys think I should keep calling or maybe just wait a week and try again?
