i dont think you're right

atleast in one of the affidaffits she should have the whole householdsize, which is 5

we had to submit 2 affidavits, one for the wife (me) and one for the stepdaughter, so on the wifes affidavit our householdsize was 2-husband and wife and on the stepdaughters affidavit it was 3 - husband, wife, daughter

we don't have a cc yet, so i cant tell for sure, but thats how it was explained to me here and on phone with the nvc rep.

maybe someone with a CC can confirm here?!

I've done this step and received a CC

In my husband's I-864, I counted him as 1 (the beneficiary), myself and dependent = 3

In my stepson's I-864, I counted him as 1 (the beneficiary), myself and my spouse = 3

Scan date 4/14/15. CC 5/8/15

I, however, did receive a checklist for my stepson but it was due to their own (NVC) clerical error.

^^ that's pretty much what we did...

Household will actually be 5 people - Hubby, me, his son, my 2 daughters....

My AOS - Hubby, Me, his son (3 people)

Each daughters AOS - Stepdad (petitioner), me (his spouse), stepbrother (dependant on dad's taxes), and them-self - total 4

It really confused me for the longest time because I thought we had to show 5 people, because that is what our family is.....

Youngest daughter has a CC, I have a CC, and oldest daughter is pending review of the DS260 (but AOS was approved)

It would make a difference if the US Citizen already has claimed (or is claiming) the child as a dependent on their taxes..... My hubby is not claiming my girls (yet... not 'til next year) so he only claimed 1 dependent - his US son (from previous marriage).....

Hello where do your find or see that there is a scan date? And hope you're get CC soon☺.

We sent in our packet express mail last week Friday, so I just called the NVC today to find out, and they told me my scan date was yesterday. The rep told me they don't send out emails necessarily to let you know what your scan date is. My advice would be to wait a week after sending and then call them. Thanks! Good luck to you too! By the way, I just logged onto my IV status page, and I see they've actually changed the little blurb on the summary page to say they are now taking "2 to 4 weeks" to review cases! So it's official that these faster processing times are here to stay! How exciting! Let's hope mine is closer to 2 weeks than 4!!
