My Mom completed filling out the DS261 and was able to print the confirmation by the end of it.

Now we are trying to pay the AOS invoice (she received the letter from NVC 05/07/2015) the invoice date on the later was 05/01/2015.

"This case is in the process of termination. Fee payments and online forms can no longer be accepted. If you believe you have received this message in error, or to resume processing of the case, please contact the NVC immediately."

We keep getting this every time we tried to log in. Ive read on the VJ wiki that its not a bad thing or they just inputting your case in the system. but im still worried somehow.

How long should we wait to pay the AOS ??

Should my mom call NVC about this error msg we getting?

THANKS!!

Guys let me tell you NVC reviewed my documentos in 9 days yes 9. Which was not good to me cuz at the time they reviewed it I had not ds-260 available on CEAC yet. I filled out my ds-260 on April 29th as soon as it was able. So thats why they sent me a fake checklist on May 7th. So that,´s why I did not get case complete in 9 days :crying:

Gonna call everyday until day review my ds-260. Hope they review it before May 20th so I can have my interview on July.

Todays is been 10 days since I filled my ds-260, Do u think they review it before May 20th? how long have they taken to review only ur ds-260??

Wish me luck guys.

Good Luck to all of you. :clock:

Hi Rachel

Sorry that you got a checklist, i'm in almost same situation as you. NVC received my documents on 6th May, and i got a mail invoice to pay may IV fee. But the payment option to pay IV fee is not available in portal. So my DS-260 is not yet available. I'll call them today to see why the payment option is not available.

When you were able to pay the fees after getting the invoice mail.?

Wishing you good luck.

Hey guys,

Update for you which might be a big headache for me.

Last Thursday I called to have my DS-261 reviewed over the phone. We're filing through EP, packages submitted the 21st of April, DS-261 submitted on the 15th of April. My IV fee has still not been invoiced, so this morning I called and asked if there were any issues. The operator told me that the DS-261 is reviewed, but that he saw that our case did not have the "EP Lock" (that's what he called it, but he didn't know what the actual term was) lifted, and so our IV fee was being held back. He put me on hold twice to try to find a supervisor, but no one was available, and so he took our case number and told me that as soon as one was around he'd ask them to unlock the EP process. He told me that once that issue was fixed, the invoice would be processed in the typical 3-5 day timeframe, so to call back in 7 days if I didn't hear anything.

Anyone else have similar experiences? I'm bummed, because I know the processing times are stellar right now and I dread the thought of getting checklisted over this. :(

A follow-up for anyone who is having this problem now or in the future.

I called back to ask what was happening with my case this morning to be told it was under supervisor review, which can take up to 42 days. The lady I spoke with said that because my issue was not complicated that it would probably take less time. So, to anyone going through this, when you call politely ask what can be done about the problem/if you can get a supervisor to look into unlocking your fee. The earlier the better. I don't know how many weeks it's going to take, but our scan date is April 21 and I figure we won't have our DS-260 unlocked by the time our file gets reviewed. At the very least the guy I spoke to the first time saw the issue and got it flagged for me; I can't imagine how frustrated I'd be if weeks passed where no one knew what the problem was, only to have to wait 42 days on top of that.

Hi guys.. I was controlling myself not to post in this thread to avoid email notification for every reply. (Somehow setting to turn that off didn't work in last month's thread)

Anyways, here is what is going on with my case.

I called today, (one week after NVC actually got my case)

They replied that documents from USCIS were scanned last week, May the 4th. But they don't have case number yet. It takes few weeks, and I should call back in another 2 weeks.

I am trying to remove email notifications completely. While I like to receive on site notifications.

Turned out your reply got me an email, but nothing on the site notifications, since I tried to turn off all the notifications. I can't individually turn off email notifications since the option in the settings is disabled.

Our IV Fee was invoiced on May 7th and we received an e-mail about it, including instructions to pay by mail. However, today, May 11, it's still not available to be paid online.

Called NVC and was told there is indeed a "problem with their system and the IV fees are not being invoiced online". She recommened either waiting (no estimate for when it will be fixed) or mailing in a check/money order and having to wait up to 21 days for it to be processed!

Has anyone paid their IV fee online on the last couple days? I want to make sure it's just not their bs that the system is "broken". Waiting another 21 days will probably give me a checklist as we already mailed our AOS/IV packages.

Mine was not a checklist thanks God just a notification that their system automatically sent me cuz packages were review before ds-260 was fill. Waiting on my ds-260 to be reviewed calles this morning and it has not been review yet the girl say as soon as I have my confirmation letter everything is all right and I do. She said until ds-260 is not review and add to my file the CSRs are not able to see it.

Good Luck to everybody. Hope to scream CC this week jejeje.

Hi!

My husband had his interview last week and was approved. Now I am trying to book him a flight (I am in the US and he is in Tanzania). They are now telling me that Africa has laws that restrict any "third parties" from purchasing the ticket. This means I can not purchase a ticket for him. Has anyone else experienced something like this? I feel so lost because every company is denying my payment.

Thanks!
