I sent in my I129F package on 2/1/07 and got my NOA1 on the 02/09/07

I signed up for email updates from UCSIS this weekend and today I got an

email stating that they had mailed me a notice of approval on 2/13/07 (Vermont) woohoo

that quick? is that the NOA2? or am I reading something wrong ???

11th Aug 2008 - Mailed I-751 to CSC.

12th Aug 2008 - Application received

14th Aug 2008 - Cheque cashed

18th Aug 2008 - Received NOA-dated the 12th

26th Aug 2008 - Received Biometrics letter

4th Sept 2008 - Biometrics-Detroit-Complete-'Touched'

5th Sept 2008 - 'Touched'

1st Dec 2008 - APPROVED-Card production ordered -112 days

8th Dec 2008 - USCIS mailed approval notice.

8th Dec 2008 - Received my 10 year Greencard in the mail. took 2 days.

Although I have the above date for approval my card actualy states the

2nd December..

My check just clear yesterday...does that mean a NOA1 is not far behind?

You gotta go to www.uscis.gov and create an account with them. They will only e-mail you when your I-129F is approved tho.... Use the case number seen behind your cleared check to check on your case's status. You will know when you're touched and so on.

And yea, if you file to Vermont, usually it'll get approved pretty quick...haha.... sweetness.

Jan 08th, 2007 Medical exam! --- Done! Dunno the result tho......... =/

Feb 06th, 2007 Sent packet 3 back to the Embassy with DHL!!!

Feb 15th, 2007 Packet 4 (By phone...)

Feb 22nd, 2007 Interview date!! - VISA APPROVED!!!!!

Thanks, Detty. My bank will send me a copy of the back of the check so I can get the case #. Not sure if I'll receive that or the NOA1 first.

So when people are receiving emails, it's because they're receiving NOA2? Yes?

February, 06: Sent I-129f package to the US to be routed to Vermont

February, 09: I-129f forwarded to Vermont USCIS from US Home

February, 12: I-129f arrives VSC :) Journey really starts!

February, 13: NOA1 Reciept date

February, 16: VSC Cashes the check

March, 09: NOA2 Email. yay!

March, 11: Touched... Probably for the last time at VSC :)

March, 14: NVC Recieved package

March, 15: NVC Sent package to London

March, 20: Package recieved in London

March, 28: Packet 3 recieved!

April, 2: Packet 3 Sent back to London

April, 10: Packet 3 recieved by London Embassy

April, 17: Packet 4 recieved

May, 1: Medical

May, 29: Interview! - APPROVED
