I just looked on Casa's website do you realize that petitions for spouses only get TWO HOURS a week in Morocco?

Petitions for Spouses TH 2 pm to 3 pm

But every day of the week besides Wednesdays they make time for nonimmigrant visas. And remember family is a priority.

That is crazy ! I am pretty sure, sad as it sounds, that Lebanon is the same way too. I know when we call we can only call on a certain day for two hours, even when we go to the embassy it's the same thing. They need to understand their is a BIG difference between husband and boyfriend or even fiance. Husbands and Wives need to be together in order to start their lives, their families. It's soooo confusing ... we will never understand.

Reunited and it feels so good ....

All embassies just not Morocco sad to say. Hang in there and your time is coming soon.

Mary

Everything I respond to is from personal knowledge, research or experience and I am in no means a lawyer or do I claim to be one. Everyone should read, research and be responsible for your own journey.

The funniest thing is family should be more important then your boyfriend, girlfriend, or a travel visa. But instead they have interviews all day every day but for the weekend and Wednesdays. And here people married or any family fight over who will get those two hours a week!!

Somehow the consulate in Morocco must be taking alot of leisure time. They don't like husbands and wife's to be together so fast. That's why it's better to marry your fiance(e) in the USA. It's bad enough they make us wait so long and then only to have a 10 minute interview. :crying:

I explained the reason why...:(

K-1s the USICS has heads up on whom you are bringing to the USA.

where as they dont have heads up when you marry outside the USA. the USICS gets pissed we get pentalized for that. :(

btw, me and my husband both had 2 hour interviews.

let me tell you this . man I wish it was 10 mins. they interrogated the life out of us.

we are a prime example of the Family Life Act not working for us. :(

here is my VENT.

My husband got interview in pk on <AUG 05>

I got interview here in the USA < SEP 05 >

our familys got interviewed by ISL embassy on < nov 21 05 >

and again by Lahore consulate < Nov 22 05 >

Security checks all compleate none ordered < jan 13, 06 >

so where the dayum visa at?

so in the mist of all that drama. we finish up the Cr1.

its at the embassy as of < feb 21, 06 >

Don't know where you get your info at...ie>>>>>>

I explained the reason why...

I for one had no problems with the USCIS. My problems came from the consulate who is under the Department of State. USCIS reaffirmed my petition that was returned by the consulate asking for action to be taken by the the DOS again!! As I understand the situation, USCIS gets sued for the actions of the DOS. DOS think they can take action on petitions that CIS has already approved. This is an internal govermental ( and I really mean MENTAL) problem.

Anywho do you have info to back up your statement? Or is is just your own thinking? I am interested in just the facts...lol

I have done much research, just never found that. Why can't you share the info if it is indeed a true statement?

I dont know if the statement is true but it makes sense to their thinkings.

I'm just curious about this; it doesn't make sense to me so much. Why does the US government care where you get married? It's not like they have any say over who you marry in the US any more than if you do it abroad...

Cause they cant tell you no you cant get married but alot of people might just give up and not go back for another run around with them. I read that if you marry in the foreign country the process is suppose to take less time but if you marry in the USA it will actually take longer. I wounder of that is because of AOS?

So are you ladies say that we should go to the countries and marry then come back and file? Why are husband more important than a fiance (they are coming here to start a family)? The point is we all should be giving the same treatment no matter what.

Im saying everyone should be taken care of in a prority level. But a family member needs to be more of a priority then a fiance. Fiance is not your family your just planning to marry. I just dont think its fair that married people have to wait so long and Fiances can be here in 6 months or less usually. If you were married and had to do all of this waiting instead of the short wait for a K1 visa you would see it differently.
