Hi,

Anyone filing I-751 in August?

Read a lot about it and it look like it takes 6-10 months to get your permanent resident.

Anyone has experience short or longer wait for your file to be approved?

Sent my application on May 24

Received on May 25 th

Check was cashed on May 26th

Received a bio appointment letter for June 13 th

Please add me to n400 may 206 filers

Hey guys -

Finally got a response to RFE on Saturday 6/11/16, It says "congratulations! your request for removal of the conditional basis of your permanent resident status has been approved."

It goes on more but basically is saying the new card will be here within 60 days.

Anyone got it before 60 days? My license is expired already so I'm a bit nervous driving around without it being extended, I don't think DMV will extend based on this letter.

SO happy and relieved! One less thing to stress about @6.5 months pregnant!

Good luck to everyone!!! I will start looking into citizenship soon. I think my initial gc arrived in July 2013, so I'm not sure if I'm eligible to apply yet or not.

Congrats!! You really waited long enough to match your nickname. Your new card should arrive within the next 2 weeks. Could you confirm the approval date on that letter so that we could update the timeline?

Welcome to the forum! Follow THIS link to schedule an infopass appointment with your local USCIS office to get the I-551 stamp in your passport when you go to the appointment you can also ask about any updates on your pending case! Good luck to you.

Do you have any idea why it is still pending? Is it background check related? or maybe they issued RFE or send you an interview letter that you never received? The status won't reflect any of these, you need to call the customer service and talk to a Tier 2 ASAP to learn the details.
