Approval date: 3/10/2016;

Approval letter received: 3/14/2016;

Online status changed to new card being ordered: 3/17/2016;

New card being mailed out: 3/21/2016;

New card received:3/24/2016

Hello!! I have this update. It has been like that for a few weeks and I have not received anything else. Does anyone knows what it means?

On March 7, 2016, we updated your name for your Form CRI-89, Petition to Remove Conditions of Permanent Resident Status Received, Receipt Number XXXXXXXXXXX. If you move, go to www.uscis.gov/addresschange to give us your new mailing address.

I had the same name status update on Monday March 14th. I got my approval letter a few days later in the mail (postmarked 15 March). Since your update was on March 7, you may want to give USCIS a call.

Received my Approval letter today. Approved on 3-22-2016. I m on outside of usa on holidays i hope its not going to be a problem entering on that extension letter.

It took me exactly 10 months. Good luck everyone.

Got my card today. I never got an approval letter but I really don't care right now. My approval was officially on March 22, 2016. Thanks for all your help guys and Good Luck to those still waiting.

Just did a name based search if there was any unreported approvals. Found two for CSC, none for VSC. Veer143 was approved 10/29/2015, Goodbar was approved 2/8/16 after responding to RFE. Not sure if there are any other CSC cases left untouched at this point, most seemed to be pending CSC people have not signed in for a very long time. For VSC, there are also some people that have not logged in since they uploaded their info to the table last May/June. God knows about their status at this point.

Yesterday more workload transfers were announced from VSC to other service centers. Though ROCs were not among the transferred petitions, let's hope the transfers help expedite adjudication of the remaining VSC cases.

It's been 331 days since I mailed my ROC package, and finally a letter from VSC showed up in the mail today. It starts with the word "Congratulations!". I was approved on 3/28; exactly 321 days after my NOA letter. My online status still shows the same "On May 12 2015, we received ..." and I have not received any email or text notice though I am signed up for all of these.

Thanks to everyone who put up with all of my complaints about VSC since I became a member here. I hope this ridiculousness would be over for all of the remaining VSC cases asap. One more step left in my immigration journey and that is currently being processed. My N400 NOA was dated 3/25. So, the myth turned out to be true for me, USCIS approved my ROC after my naturalization application was in place.
