Hi all.

I just came home from vacation and just saw my approval letter. It is dated 03/01 amd got the email alert on 03/07.

Hope VSC gets their cases going at a speedy rate for everyone still waiting in this forum.

Congrats!

This is the second time that we travel abroad with the expired Green Card and the extension letter. There were no issues neither in Ecuador nor entering the U.S.

And when we arrived home, we saw the letter from USCIS. My wife was approved on 02/29. No updates to the website still.

Hi everyone. I've been lurking on visajourney for years. I figured I would finally add my info to the stats, it's the least I can do! VJ has helped me so, so much. Thanks to everyone who participates in this forum. It's made these immigration challenges much more bearable.

It was the date that the USCIS website showed I had been approved. I also received the text message that day.

On March 7, 2016, we updated your name for your Form CRI-89, Petition to Remove Conditions of Permanent Resident Status Received, Receipt Number EACxxxxxxxxx. If you move, go to www.uscis.gov/addresschange to give us your new mailing address.

Does anyone know what it means?

It is very quiet around here. Seems like VSC is not moving ahead. According to the forum not even 50% of May fillers have been processed. No hopes for transferring case to CSC which is a little behind as well. If you guys have any updates, please share...

By the way it says that VCS is working on July 13th cases based on Visajourney member data. How this is possible?

WooHoo! Literally just got a text message saying my case was updated! Checked the website and sure enough it says 'new card in production'!!!!! I am so FREAKING happy! I leave for Canada for 7 and a half weeks on March 24, so here's to hoping the new card gets here before my daughter and I fly out!

By the way it says that VCS is working on July 13th cases based on Visajourney member data. How this is possible?

Monthly threads are more accurate indicating where SCs are. who knows maybe that july approval is a military spouse case. here or there some people get randomly approved ahead of everyone. In May, this was Casper123 who got approved 12/21/15. Someone from June VSC thread got approved 12/23/15. I wouldn't rely on these random approvals.

I'd say we had a great week with 6 approvals posted since Monday. An amazing number in VSC standards but again I wouldn't call VSC is moving along unless I see 5 approvals each day. They still are not in a pace to diminish backlogs. One way or the other they would transfer cases to CSC soon, maybe June or July cases, who knows.

Just got my approval letter in be mail today. The decision date was 03-07-2016. So I received the text and email several days after the actual decision date!

Good News, I just rec ivied a text from USCIS saying that your case has been updated, I went online it saying that your new card has been ordered. So i hope that means I am approved, I filled on 05/14 and got (Hopefully approved MSG today. I hope this will bring excitement to you guys and wish you the best :)
