I filed on May 28. and got my biometrics appointment early in june and got it done on June 29.

but the case status check online it still says,

On May 28, 2015, we received your Form CRI-89, Petition to Remove Conditions of Permanent Resident Status Received, and sent you the receipt notice that describes how we will process your case. Please follow the instructions in the notice. If you do not receive your receipt notice by June 27, 2015, please call Customer Service at 1-800-375-5283. If you move, go to www.uscis.gov/addresschange to give us your new mailing address.

Should I be worried that its not updating?

Does this mean that they didnt get my biometrics? or does this status really not change? Is the next step just a notification of approval/denial? Or should I be seeing something on the online case status that says the biometrics has been received or something?

uhm, What should I do?

They don't update it. Next update you will get when they issue the card/approve your case

My wife's green card came while we were traveling out of the country... one week sooner and we wouldn't have had to drag along that extension letter.

But curiously her birth year is listed incorrectly on the new card, while it was correct on the old card. So I need to look into getting that fixed.

thank you! funny enough the day after i posted my all my worries, the online case status update was changed to "new card is being produced"

hi, guys! I filed my I-751 in August and shortly after recieved the notice for green card extension for 1 year. I knew the proccess takes 6 to 12 months, but still planned a visit to my home country Bulgaria. i wanted to make sure that even after my conditional green card expires in November I will be able to go home and than come back to US. I scheduled an INFOPASS appointment in October. I went to the appointment and the immigration clerk took my expiring conditional resident card and cut it in half, telling me that the stamp that she is going to put in my passport (that she also authorized) was going to be my new "green card" while my case was pending. I asked if it was okay for me to go home to Bulgaria and use this stamp to come back to US, she reassured me 1000 times that it was okay.

I am in Bulgaria now, flying back to US next month, but I am a little worried that I might have problems at the airport. I have my stampped passport, the immigration letter saying my residency was extended, my marriage certificate, social number, ID's, everything that I have to prove that I am a resident, but still I am worried that I might have trouble. Anybody done the same journey while case pending? please, tell me I am going to be okay!

You'll be fine. The I-551 stamp is all that's required.

hey! you shouldnt have a problem. I traveled with just my passport stamp and notice of action. Be ready to get sent to a different room and wait a while while they make sure every thing is in order. I did have a bad experience becuase they kept me in a room for 1 hour and asked me alot of questions...funny thing is none of them where about my wife and I. Most where about my out of status family that live here in the USA..... other then that it was ok. Don't stress. You will be fine
