Hi all

Hope everyone is hanging on in there :)

I just got back from doing my Biometrics -- USCIS really is the definition of "hurry up and wait", I was there for two hours before I got my fingerprints taken.

Still, now it really is hurry up and wait time. Fingers crossed for a speedy approval.

Be prepared for the eternal waiting game. Be prepared for average news.

Vermont is quite slow. They're working on Nov 2014 I believe.

But the last update of this chart is June 30 2015 so I hope they're working now on 2015 cases

Hi guys,

I finally received my bio appointment for Aug 27, but did walk in today Aug 21 (a week early). Please update me on the spread sheet thanks lotts!

Hang in there guys..each day brings us a step closer to completion!

P.S. At the USCIS local office was a Naturalization/Citizenship ceremony and security was kind enough to let me have a look. As I peered through the glass doors I couldnt help but feel their joy and pride in becoming a US Citizens...Goosebumps! I don't care what anyone says...this is a great country!!!

California Service Center (45 applicants, 7 approved - 16%)

Vermont Service Center (25 applicants, 0 approved - 0%)

We really have a very good service at Vermont center ? !!!!!'

Congratulations for all approved fillers

What is quite heartbreaking is the method both are using. Vermont is at a crawl (sent 10 to CSC in February). CSC is skipping February, March and April and doing some of ours. This is a consistent problem that always happens. Nothing stays in the chronological order that they are submitted. So people who filed in February are chewing nails while a handful of May are approved. Very soon, June will get some approvals and we will unfortunately be in the same boat. :(

It does seem to be a little bit of a lottery, for sure.

I was speaking with my employer's legal team today, who are pseudo-handling my application (they are there if I need them to step in / it's apparently in my employer's best interests for this to be completed as soon as possible) - they advised me that usually all it takes to get a kick on your application is contacting the service center directly (outside of the usual "Service Request") and formally requesting your application be expedited. That's not something that's generally available to us regular folk, but lawyers / your local congress representative's office have that ability.

So, if it ends up extending past normal processing times of 6 months or so, I wouldn't say the above would be a bad idea.

Be prepared for the eternal waiting game. Be prepared for average news.

My husband had his Bio today. His appointment was at 1 but we're got there just after12:30 and we were out before 1. There was no problems, it was all pretty fast.

The guy did ask for his green card and not his ID. When my husband asked if he wanted his drivers license he said no I only asked for your green card. ..I don't know why his was snippy no was there but us. So it's not like the question was slowing up the line.

Now we wait again. Keeping our fingers crossed we are approved without an interview.

12/4/2012 - NOA1 NBC (Missouri Service Center MSC) 5/22/15: Date on NOA1

I had my biometrics appointment in Dallas on 8/25/2015. My appointment was for 9am, we showed up at 845 and we were out by 920. It was quick, painless and they were very friendly :)

Now more of the waiting game.

My husband still has not received his Biometrics. Put in a service request back in July. Received a response on August 4th, that his name would be put on the scheduling list. Called USCIS again today. They would not check anything for us. We have a lot of trouble with our mail not being delivered or getting delivered to the wrong address, so I was hoping they could at least tell us if a letter had been mailed. He would not look it up for us and would not let us talk to anyone else. We were told all we can do is wait and not to call back again until the middle of September. UGH... so frustrating!

My husband still has not received his Biometrics. Put in a service request back in July. Received a response on August 4th, that his name would be put on the scheduling list. Called USCIS again today. They would not check anything for us. We have a lot of trouble with our mail not being delivered or getting delivered to the wrong address, so I was hoping they could at least tell us if a letter had been mailed. He would not look it up for us and would not let us talk to anyone else. We were told all we can do is wait and not to call back again until the middle of September. UGH... so frustrating!

I am so sorry you are having to wait just for your Biometrics! There is already a CSC June filer who has been approved. So inconsistent!!
