From what I understand, it's hard to ascertain why you would have gotten an interview. It could be because you're simply unfortunate enough to be selected at random, it could be because something doesn't seem 100% to the IO regarding either the submitted information / information provided during AOS, it's impossible to second-guess really.

Best you can do is make sure you bring as much information as possible!

Be prepared for the eternal waiting game. Be prepared for average news.

All these may filers finally getting bio letters. We are still waiting. Everyone seems to be getting appointments for August 24-28. On Aug 28 my wife and i are going out of town for our anniversary. Knowing our luck that's when her bio will get scheduled. Is it easy (or even possible) to reschedule?? I would hate to cancel our hotel and basically our whole mini-vacation if they happen to schedule her for the 28th.

Mine was for August 20th and arrived yesterday. I believe it's your local ASC office's scheduling, vs USCIS as a whole determining the date.

You can reschedule, on the ASC notice there's a box to check. However you can't specify for when, you'll simply get another one in the mail.

Be prepared for the eternal waiting game. Be prepared for average news.

Just received a letter in the mail today saying my request for the removal of the conditional..... Has been approved on 8/7/15! I can't believe it!!

In regards to traveling we just got back from Mexico and no problems with my GC and extension letter.
