We filed May 20 and are still waiting but I haven't called yet because It's my husband's application and they wont talk to be unless he's there. Is there truly a real rush to get the Bio appointment? Does that put you in the queue for the next step? I haven't felt the need to stress over this because it seems lots of other people are in the same boat. If there's a 50K backlog I'm sure calling isn't going to push my case any.

Well, i agree to an extent..but part of the problem seems to be that they skipped over the end of May filers and many June filers already got the bio letter and finished the bio appt.

I'm with you guys. I called once a couple weeks back and was informed that CSC is under a huge backlog of cases. Considering we have a perfectly valid extension of status which enables us to work, travel and generally live unaffected by this I am also putting my feet up and relaxing. No point getting worked up over a biometrics appointment!

Be prepared for the eternal waiting game. Be prepared for average news.

I figure the USIC completed my in 2 months the first time around when my husband was out of country and others waited 8+ months. Now that he's here and has an extension letter I'm not to worried about how long it takes till be get closer to 9 mo waiting...

I have enough real problems to worry about. And maybe they will decide to push it faster when they realize we were missed and we wont get an interview.

Same, I'm putting my feet up and awaiting next May, when I can file N-400 and force them to locate my misplaced application.

We have our I-797s extending our status so why worry?

I guess I'm not THAT worried about it anymore..since they've cashed the check and we have the letter and really what can we do about it??? My concern was because June has already received and gone to the theirs for the most part and honestly I was more so hoping that it would come sooner rather then later so I didn't have to pull my daughter out of school for the trip to Dallas. LOL.

We did call at the beginning of July and was told they submitted a service request and about 10 days later I received the standard email about there being a backlog and that I was put in the system appointment scheduler... It is what it is.

Is ready for this journey to begin!

I wonder if the 'skipping' has anything to do with that computer glitch they had, remember that? I also wonder if not having a bio scheduled will push those applications even further behind in waiting. It certainly isn't fair that June filers are getting theirs.

Yeah, scheduling is part of why u want the bio appt over and done between August 28 and Nov 11 we are going to be out of town for a total of 3+ weeks on a work trip, a florida vacation, and an anniversary long weekend trip. Knowing our luck we'll get the bio appt and it will conflict with something. If this happens how big of a pain is it to re-schedule the appointment?

Exactly. One would have to assume when the bio is finished you get que'd for the next step in the process. So the end of May filers are basically getting pushed to the back of the line. And that's great if you can just kick your feet up and relax....but i just want this done as soon as possible

I filed at Vermont Service Center on May 7. It was received on May 11 and I had my biometrics on June 12. Now waiting for the next notice of action. It's been a couple of months now and I still haven't received any. I'm so anxious as my GC expires in two days.

Date of I-751 = May 7, 2015.
NOA Date = May 11, 2015.
Biometrics = June 12, 2015.

You should have received a letter that extends your GC to one year... so even though the date on the card shows expiry in 2 days, your GC is valid for another year from the date on the expiring card.

I haven't and now I'm worrying more

What should i do?

NOA comes before the biometrics notice which you seem to have received. Your NOA must have been lost in the mail. Contact USCIS to enquire about the NOA. This NOA is proof that your GC is extended for a year.

Did you file in CSC or VSC? I can add you to the May filers list!

My mom sent the i751 to Vermont , and yes i know that letter is before the fingerprints.

She did infopass appoitment last week , they stamp the passport, but she want that letter.

She is very worried :(

Sometimes there is also a delay at the post office and perhaps with USCIS as well. You can fill out the above form or call USCIS customer service

I did that for her, they answer her email, we reply for some answer About august 11

Thank you for answer.

Are you sure you didn't get the NOA? You indicated in one of your posts that you received it. Did you read the entire notice? Just checking!

She Waited a month Until June 10 she do not get anything not NOA and the appointment for the fingerprints Either, then she called to costumer service to do a new appointment for the fingerprints, was on June 30, but the NOA I never came.

My mother received the appointment of FINGERPRINTS, but not the NOA

The last notice i received was for the biometrics appointment. I checked registered in the USCIS website and there's no update after May 11th, which is the letter for that appointment.
