NVC certified documents

Hi guys,

I have to sent certified copies to NVC so my question is that whats is (Certified) means?

Is i have to certified it from Notary Public Commission or Foreign ministry or Others?

Did you get a checklist from NVC requesting certified copies? Otherwise, you just send normal photocopies with your AOS and IV packet.

No i don't..I am just sending the packet in few days so i decide to confirm it coz i read some where that certified copies are required if u are not sending original.

You only send photocopies to NVC. The originals, or certified copies if you don't have originals, will be needed for the interview at the embassy.

you have only certified nikah nama translation from ministry of foreign affairs. Remaining civil documents like birth certificate, marriage registration certificate, urdu nikah nama etc you dont need to certified

NVC do not ask for Original documents. Just send them photocopies and take originals to the interview

Certified copy is another copy from the issuing authority. Like Union Consul to get a certified copy of you birth certificate or Nikkah nama. It's not just a Attested copy. As you have originals, you don't need to get Certified copies. Just take originals to Embassy.

Dear but I am not sending my original i am sending just the color photocopies of my civil documents in this case attestation or certification is not required from foreign affairs or notary public.?

No need to get copies attested , however I will suggest you to make two english translations of Urdu documents e.g. Nikkah Nama and/OR birth certificate, and have those Attested from notary public. and send one copy to NVC and take one with you at the time of interview.

Any one can telme, police certificate will be send as it is or need to send a copy like other documents.
