hi everybody.after I receive my passport finally.i got my citizenship certificate back today too from department of state and I am done with all process..thank you so much for everybody for all help and answers,,i cant say I am done with the visajourney because this is very usefull site for us and I am sure I wll be in and out sometimes,,good luck ...can you update my timeline kash2011,? thank you kash2011 for all things you do..bye

Hi all,

Just called Uscis again and got the same answer as last month: my field office is processing February forms and I am in the normal range.

He estimated probably 3 more months until the biometrics letter.

Same old BS from USCIS helpline. If they're processing Feb forms then how come most of the applicants from June thread are already are citizens.

Just got a reply from uscis in the mail on the service request i had filed.

It reads

" Due to workload factors not related to your case, USCIS anticipates a delay in completing your case. USCIS is committed to adjudicating immigration benefits in the order received and in a timely and efficient manner"

All of us knows this is Bull, because applicants with fliling date three months later than mine in the same field office have their cases progressed, while mine is stuck behind. Frustrated with lack of accountability and visiblity.

This is not normal. Something is wrong here you must receive biometric notice within one month of your filing date without biometrics process does not go anywhere as they can't conduct necessary background checks. You should call USCIS 1-800 number and must insist to speak to Tier2 officer and explain him the situation and have them open service request.

We went to the Oath Ceremony yesterday. What a surreal experience. After these past years of jumping through all the hoops and making copies all the records about our lives, at the end, the people at the USCIS were all smiles and offering to pose for photos. What a contrast! It reminded me of how I used to feel in school after final exams were over… I was too exhausted by the whole process to celebrate, just glad it was finally over.

Now the only thing left is apply for a passport.
