I'm on day 41/30, IR5 case. My AOS/IV package has been reviewed end of April. Now only DS-260 is left to be reviewed.

Last Friday I called and talked to a nice woman at NVC. She said, "oh yeah I see it's way overdue. Let me send your case to a supervisor." The week before they had told me it should be complete within a week, so I asked if it was going to take another week for the supervisor to review it. She said it shouldn't take long, and to call back Monday (today). I thought it was unrealistic.. but hey. I think she was just eager to say something nice. Of course, today I called and the case has not been reviewed  and they have no new information or estimates. :clock:

Has anyboedy else here had their case transfered to supervisor review? And if so, how long did it take for them to review?

I'm also waiting, turned in all of my documents in March and was not able to pay the IV invoice until the end of April. Filled out my DS260 May 4th. I am also waiting and waiting. I called last week and all the NVC Rep can say was that "They are behind and that my ds260 wasn't reviewed yet but all my other documents were good to go. :protest: I wish this process was a little bit faster. I'm planning to call tomorrow morning and see what else they say...

When a case is transferred to supervisor review it can take up to 42 days for a supervisor to look at the file. My case has been flagged twice now. The first time we were in supervisor review for less than a week. The second time (this time) we've been in supervisor review since May 27. Others who entered supervisor review on the same day or after me have had approvals already, but I'm still waiting. It seems a little random.

Keep your chin up and keep calling. I call twice a week to see what's going on. If you can afford it, you can try calling every day. It won't necessarily take 42 days, but it might. Try to stay positive. We're nearing the end of this journey, and with your packages reviewed there isn't much holding you back now from a CC. :)

I am in the same boat, mine has been in supervisor review since May 15th. I have been calling each week to hear call back next week and it shouldn't take too long to do finish the review. I think all of us have heard so many excuses I feel like we should make a list of them. :-)

Depending on what part of the case granted you a supervisor review.

It is about 42 days, but if the case it's only being flagged to trigger the next step then it can be much less.

Not necessarily but it can be.
