Wow congrats on your interview. I haven't heard anything yet, my CC was 4/9/15. I called on Monday and am thinking of calling again next Monday. Pls keep us updated. All the best

If I were you and had an hour to spare before they close I would have called. Mine was scheduled today. Good luck.

SD - 4/6

Received a checklist today for a Birth Certificate we already sent to them!

Birth Certificate was official, double stamped, initialed and signed. Included parents names and everything. We also had the English translation that was stamped and signed by an approved translator! Had our case number in the top right corner too!

Spoke to a supervisor at NVC today and he said it might take him 2-3 weeks to look at it!

We're sending in again in the meantime! Complete incompetence!!

I am so confused why it takes such a long time to schedule interviews. I feel as if we are being punished because we went outside the country to find our spouses...LoL. This whole entire process is a punishment. You get so excited to rcv a CC and then you have to wait for months to even get an interview. As for Jamaica, ever since the processing was transferred to Santo Domingo, DR, the process has become more time consuming. Are these long waits for interview because of NVC or the Embassies?

Wow. That's really sad to hear. My scan date is the same so I'm pretty scared now too.

Did you find out over a call or did you receive an email for the checklist?

Received an email. Then called right away to verify.

Can you please tell me the number they called you from. I was getting a call from a weird number in the morning but wasn't able to receive it because I was away.

Ok, that's good to know. I'm watching the spreadsheet and if my SD starts to get passed over I plan to call using the same method as you. : )

I noticed that two people under my SD already got some form of status update, but it seems to be slow this week with CC's and/or any form of status update for people. I hope they haven't slowed down again.

I just told the rep about the website and the spresdsheet :) they were like wow that is smart hahaha

I'm in complete agreement! I thought once I finally made it through several rounds of "60 days" this would be the easy part! I mean...it's just scheduling an interview! There's no thinking/reviewing required...just schedule it already!! As for who is responsible for the long waits...each one says the other! No one accepts responsibility! Nvc says they are waiting on embassy, embassies say they have openings! It's compete & utter chaos! It's like we're so close to the end yet can't get there!! ?
