Just get off on the phone with nvc, the supervisor has requested the information on our documents to be reviewed, so I ask the lady how long does it take her answer was there's no timeframe for that so she can't give me a specific answer.

I really can't understand how NVC works. My baby and my case are considered associated cases but my case has been complete almost two weeks ago. Now I'm nervous that her case might get a checklist. My husband is pushing our medicals next week. He believed nothing will be a problem with baby's case.

Can you actually have a medical before your case in complete? How long is the medical valid for?

It varies on which consulate you are but in the Philippines, medical is good for 6mos. Even you don't have the interview letter, they'll accommodate you as long you know your case number and visa preference. My case is complete but baby is not yet but this week my husband is being very optimistic that we'll hear great news regarding her case. If so we will push our medicals next week :)

Yes same as Ghana, because my husband already has his done, since April when we were going to fill out the ds260 , he went for the immunization, but they ask him to do all at once, hopefully we get a cc soon so he doesn't have to do it again, it valid for six months.

Hi Everyone,

I called the NVC and they said that they approved my DS-261 many days ago, but since they hadn't invoiced me the IV Fees, my case was sent for supervisor review. Apparently they had an error in the system stating that I had a lawyer when I do not have one.

Does anyone have experience having had their case sent for supervisor review before being invoiced for the IV Fees?

Cheers,

JP

TrustG so is it okay if we push our medicals next week? My case is complete, baby not yet. This week we will reach the 45days limit so we expecting a cc on baby. Anyway my husband is so optimistic he wants us to push the medicals even no cc for baby. He is thinking since medical is good for 6mos he believes that will not cause us trouble even baby's case is not yet complete.

Yes rustyandjane7422 , u can push ur medicals, but so long as u have cc let's pray it will not take long for ur baby cc, and six months is quite long so follow ur husband's advice. Good luck to all of us.

Yes nyala62 all the applicant need is the case number, and he /she will be given a form to fill out. My husband said he paid 830 Ghana cedis, and that was in April. He went back a week later and pick it up in a sealed envelope and get a immunization card as verification.
