No way! I'm telling you you gotta be on top of them. I literally call them everyday. They told mea about the checklist a week ago and we just got the email. Same for me part 6 item 10 for sponsor and co-sponsor. Our attorney left that space in blank Bc there were no other household members and we just had to filled the blank space with the same amount as stated. Something insignificant. But like I said NVC will do anything to delay your case. If you're confused about something call them! Call them! I really feel calling helps. They'll know you're on top your case.

I don't understand why those agents would not tell me I had a checklist why why ?

Some agents will tell you completely different information. Sometimes I call 3 times a day just to confirm they information they've given me. Do not worry about the could/would have happened, the good thing is that you already sent out the correction now we just need to wait. We wil be just fine, Try not to stress yourself out about it.

Ohhh ....3-4 weeks from CC to interview date for Accra US embassy is not bad all...thanks. But no CC for me yet, still waiting patiently.

nyala62 I just spoke the NVC rep and the nice guy sd we shouldn't worry about sending the letter/email along with the correction, he sd the emails we got are just emails generated by the system and that NVC has already received our documents and it just needs to be updated and complete the case! yay!

It's fine. We did not include the checklist neither the cover letter. We are just getting the email and we sent everything a week ago. I called the NVC like an hr ago and they sd that's not a problem. that NVC has received the documents and it just needs to be updated and completed and I called TWICE both representative confirmed the same thing. I understand how you feel, I was PISSED when we found that about the checklist, I understand over a missing signature or missing taxes but over something so insifgnificant, I was frustrated, specially because we paid an atty for this to go right, we paid her $2000, we didn't have the money and we moved across the world to get it because we wanted to be sure everything was right but we all humans and make mistakes. My hubby told me this: The ammount of Sh*t we have been thru its outrageous, We didnt have money, a car, we slept at the beach one time while I was pregnant bc we were homeless and you know what? We dealed with it, we GOT over it and MOVED on, so 30 days its NOTHING on us. I certainly dunno what your situation is or what you been thru but just think about how lucky you are to have each other, to have someone who loves you. Not many people have that. WE DO!

Ok thanks ,Daveadams903, thank you for verifying about the delayed CL emails. I did not even call them about it, I'm tired of NVC ...I'm just waiting to start calling after 20 days at least. I'm hope we will get out of this forever. One again thank you, I will keep you informed about any update on my cases.

Daveadams903. Thanx for the encouragement, we really need to encourage each other, because somebody like me I think I'm loosing my mind with this heartless nvc agents who thinks they have all the right to decide when couples and families should live together.
