After paid fee of affidavit of support I submitted my affidavit of support & civil documents to nvc before filling Ds-260 but now after 45days i filled my online visa application DS260 so my question is do i have to send civil documents again to nvc because i sent civil documents to nvc before filling ds 260 which i should send after filling ds-260 please help im new here☺☺ ( my case is immigrant visa- I-130 petition)

There is no need to send your documents again. If your AOS and IV packages are error free, the NVC will issue you a checklist for your DS-260. If there are errors in your AOS and IV packages, they will tell you what to do to fix it and your 30 days to review will start again.

It takes 30 days as well for them to review the DS-260, so even if your packages are fine, you will have to wait for someone to look over your DS-260 before you have case complete. However, a checklist for only the DS-260 doesn't restart any kind of countdown - once that form gets looked at, your case should be approved.

My file was similar to yours; our IV fee got locked in the system, so while our scan date was April 21, we only got to submit the DS-260 on May 13. Unfortunately our packages have yet to be reviewed and are flagged for supervisor review, but had they been reviewed in a timely manner we probably would have had a case complete around June 12, 30 days after submitting our DS-260.

Good luck! Sometimes you'll get lucky and things will move faster than you thought they would. Just stay positive.

YES Daveadams903 Thank you for your concern, .... I got mine too...So all this delay? To frustrate us or what?....But thank God we acted smartly by finding out the problem and fixed it 7 days ago, to save 7/30

I filled DS-260 may/4/2015 today is may/5/2015 31 days gone but nvc still didn't complete our case but as nvc told they would take only 30 days to review ds-260 as well as civil documents but 31 days gone why they didnt our case so far please help me?

Idk why its so hard for them to send a simple email! It's crazy they will do absolutely anything to delay your case. I was reading the checklist letter and it sd we should send the correction along with that letter. I'm kinda concerned we did not do that, hope that's not a problem.

i Don't think there will be a problem, because according to the NVC rep I spoke with, all they need is the BAR CODE page to identify the case, So I used a copy of my previous page with barcode....It will be well this time Daveadams

I had a checklist since May 14 I didn't get no email or anything and I've been calling twice a week and just now I found out I had a checklistI am so pissed I don't understand the NVc

Motamimi123 can you explain your situation a little bit better? You had a checklist on May 14th and you just found out you got another checklist? Or you just found out you had a checklist on May 14th? What's your checklist for?... Btw I'm on hold with NVC right I want to make sure not including that letter won't be a problem for us.
