Hi everyone

Thought I would also join this thread and spreadsheet:

I am EP for MTL, I submitted all my AOS and IV supporting documents yesterday (April 27) via the NVC email address.

Question:

(1) Will I and if so, when will I receive a confirmation email from the NVC that they received my AOS and IV packages?

(2) Is that confirmation email the "scan date"?

Not sure what others did for EP, but because of the number and size of my files, I had to send six (6!) separate emails for my AOS documents, but I ensured that each email had the same subject line with my NVC Case Number and Email # out of 6, and each file had my NVC Case Number - and each email was under 5 MBs.

Thanks for your insights!

I did receive an email it took about two weeks after though but it had the day I emailed as the scan date and I had to do the exact same thing.

When that happened, and you ended up calling what was the reasoning you gave? Just curious how you explained that you knew individuals who sent evidence around your same date had been reviewed already. I'm thinking they wouldn't take to kindly to the fact we keep each other informed about SD and such. : )

There's nothing wrong with a group of people getting together and sharing their SD/CC dates because this information is not Proprietary but is confidential for the Petitioner/Beneficiary. If the Petitioner/Beneficiary want to disclose their dates it's upto them. Also, i'm pretty sure that "they" are aware of this website and that people get together of forums to discuss their cases and stuff....

I called them on Monday and they said the case has not been reviewed yet. I received the email yesterday so the case must have been reviewed either on Monday or Tuesday.

So ill just put Tuesday is that alright?

I was wondering, what does the DHL tracking show? Are we supposed to follow it?

After you get an interview your case is sent to the embassy, some people like to track their package some dont so i just put the link on the spresdsheet :)
