Thank you ArroTG

Yours is coming, probably today, don't be a pessimist.. things will work themselves out. I was scared too coz i did not send our 2014 taxes and also left blanks on i-864.. trust in God and everything will be ok. I am even looking at your signature i see you entered NVC gates recently.. look at mine and see how much patience i had to put in.. relax.. ask yourself this "whats the worst that can happen?" if its a checklist like ours, just mail in whatever they need then boldly take a walk...#WhistlingAway! All the best.. you will receive your good news today

Thank you for the optimism and the pep-talk, Ceemu! I'm hopeful, but I don't want to get my hopes up too high. It's a delicate balance. But your words have been taken to heart. Thank you so much. :)

Hello everyone, I submitted my DS261 on 4/14. I have called the NVC many times and they tell me they cannot review it over the phone because I chose an agent that is not me or my spouse :protest: . Is that correct? Has anyone had luck having them review your 261 over the phone when the chosen agent is not the petitioner or the beneficiary?

On the other hand, what is the agent for? I find it completely useless.

No, not yet my friend...you and i have overstayed our welcome at nvc lol!. Hubby will call NVC later after work to check.. I am praying for you too. God knows how much that CC is important to everyone here.. may we all go through..

Good luck!! For a variety of reasons, we all got our CC's at different times (youngest 04/30; me 05/08; oldest 05/18) :P :P :P

Yes ChristinaG! We are twinnies in this waiting game! Remember when i inboxed you about part 3 of form i-864, that's where our checklist came from.. all other documents were okay.. The checklist said that "your visa category does not allow you to list accompanying persons....".. That is point to note for all people planing to file for accompanying children. All the best and i pray that the next visa scheduling puts us into consideration.

Hi- I need help! So on May 11 I called NVC and I was told I was going to receive a checklist for my AOS ( part 6 iteam 13 a1- my attorney put down the wrong number) so I corrected the mistake and overnight the new AOS on May 13 and they signed for it on May 14- I forgot to add page 9 so on May 14 I resend (overnight) the AOS again and the signed for it on Friday May 15. My question will I receive two different scan dates? Today I received a email from NVC that they received my documents on May 14- will I receive another email for my other mail the received on May 15??? I called yesterday and the guy said they received both mail and I should wait 30 days- but will I receive a checklist for the mail they received on May 14? Or will they open both packages at the same time? Ugh I'm so confuse and NVC reps are NOT helpful at all!!
