That is good news for us too, 04/24 scan dates, I'm one of them....OMG !!!! Help we are tired

I'm following your timeline! Please keep me posted. I know they are working within the 30 days timeframe. I think we will have CC by the end of the week! yay! hopefully no checklist. :luv:

Just got off the phone with a SC at NVC. She told me that my case was already reviewed by a supervisor but it is sent to another place for review. The SC also said that there is no timeframe for this review to be completed. Anyone know what this place/department she is talking about? Confuse now..

Hey people, something really sad happened. According to a top Obama spokesman, that spousal and fiance visa, HAD NO STANDING WITH HIS ADMINISTRATION,"" and all resources that could be summoned by the administration would
be directed to, ""ILLEGAL IMMIGRANTS,"" and processing them ahead of all other visas. Their goal was 2 to 4 thousand a day!

will this affect people that are at the NVC? or people who already got a CC and waiting for an interview to be assigned?

Congratulations!!!

Did you guys receive his passport yet? What's procedure for that? Do they give at same day or courier or do you have to pick up at VFS location? My husband appt is coming up, and we want to come here right after the appointment.

Nvc5623 - no passport yet. His interview was yesterday the 18th and CEAC has changed today from Adminstrative Processing to "Issued" so we're thinking possibly tomorrow or Thursday, which will be 2-3 days depending. When we signed up for his biometrics appt, that's when he chose that he wants to pick it up, so we're just waiting on that message. VFS doesn't exist any longer. It goes through OFC - the same place he got his biometrics. Hope this was helpful and best of luck to you both!

Lynn, please share the interview experience with us.. What questions were asked?

CeeMu I'm afraid our review won't be of much help. We are coming off a denial from a previous K1 petition back in 2012. The CO did comment that all of our paperwork was in perfect order and he had no questions to ask of him nor did he want to see anything my husband brought! That made me feel really good since I painstakingly put everything together and quadruple checked it before I mailed it in LOL The CO only wanted the 2014 tax transcript. He only asked about 5 questions and all were based on that previous denial so I would say my husband's interview was atypical of most interviews. Sorry we can't help further in that respect.

Finally someone looked at daughter's DS260.... she has a CC as of 05/18!!

Met in the SCA - DRACO INVICTUS!  08-14-2014 Married in Ann Arbor, MI

NVC... DONE  in 116 days from NOA2 to final CC

Final Steps... DONE in 350 days from NOA1 to POE

07-11-2017 NOA1 date (rec'd on 14th)

08-03-2017 Daughter and I completed biometrics; May 2018 - I had to redo my biometrics (reason unknown)

WAC17283xxxxx....and we wait...400 days

07-13-2018 I-551 extension stamp (12 mths) obtained at USCIS office in Detroit

09-20-2018 Transferred to TSC

10-15-2018 Text notification "New Card Being Produced"   YAY!!

After over an hour of waiting on the phone with the NVC, and a loop of on-hold music that still won't escape my mind, a very kind gent confirmed our interview date!

June 18th - 9 am

It was scheduled today, so I'm hoping the e-mail will show up sometime between now and Monday... time to get the medical portion of this underway!

Scan date: April 6th

CC: May 1st

CC e-mail: May 7th

Interview confirmed (verbally): May 15th

Interview date: June 18th

Hi my interview is half an hour after yours...
