scan dates/case complete/interview thread

Hi,

I've been following this thread for a while now,

last scan date after check list 6th january (EP)

After waiting for so long without any news, finally yesterday i decided to call nvc to see what was going on. I had received a check list for my last son's DS-260 on the 24th of december 2014 and completed it on the 6th of january 2015. But yesterday operator at nvc said they do not have it in their sistem. I doubled checked ond offered to read the confirmation number i had for it but he said that it was not necessary, that he belived me and that it was very weird. He sayd he would put me under review (I'm not sure if this means under SUPERVISOR review or just REGULAR review again?). I find this whole thing very awkward. Beside the frustration of the wait. How can it be possible for me to sign in on nvc and see that the DS-260 is complete and for them not to see it? Has this ever happened to anibody before? I hope it wont take too long now...

Updated, i think you need to call and get a supervisor to look into your case. Thats a loooong wait and you didnt even received any checklist?

Yes I already had a couple of checklists since my case is at nvc. The last one being on the 24th of December for ds-260 for my son. I sent that right away and was waiting until know. Then it looked to me that it was taking to much time so yesterday I called and found out they are still waiting for that form. They do not see it on their sistems. But when I log on to my case it says it is complete and sent (in January!)

The operator told me usually the review takes 42 days (isn't it the supervisor review that usually takes 42 days?) but he said that this case is particular so he dosent know actually how long it will take. I'm not sure if I should call again right away or wait at least a week before I all. If I call what can I ask?

If youre not busy i suggest calling everyday and ask an update on your supervisor's review. My review took 3-4 i think it really depends on the complexity of the case. I hope youll get answers soon!

Have you considered contacting your senator/congressman? We waited for too long(63 days) before our papers were reviewed before the checklist.. but they were reviewed once the congressman intervened. We still in the journey but it feels better when you know they are working on your papers.Cheers

If scan date means by which date they send out the "we received your documents" then that is today May 6th.

I dont know if theres such thing, but i put expedited on your name. Is there going to be a CC if its expedited? I thought its going straight to the embassy from there on?

NOP, they are going to just send over the documents to the embassy directly, without reviewing it... but we can put it on the spreadsheet =)

Have you called to confirm if they received all your documents?

On 04/29 i called NVC and they confirmed that my package arrived on 04/17 and my documents were scanned into their system on 04/20. They also told me to allow 30 days for review. It doesn't hurt to call, to be honest i feel a little more at ease with confirming 30 days review time.

I just got off the phone with good old NVC. The rep informed me that my documents were scanned into their system on 4/28, so can someone please correct my new scan date.
