scan dates/case complete/interview thread

Called NVC yesterday, my scan date is July 1st. It has been almost 50 days without any updates. So NVC rep sent my case under supervisor review on Aug 18th. I don't understand why it takes freakin so long! my case is very simple, just applying for my mother via IR5. Hate NVC!

If it helps, know that you're not alone. We're on day 57 of supervisor review now so I totally know what you're going through. NVC really sucks if you're unlucky and get the wrong reviewer or supervisor. Hope we both hear something soon.

Hi Guys , on may 21 i received a checklist for the ds260 missing , i finally completed the ds260 on july 6th, last night i called nvc asking to talk to a supervisor to review the ds260 for me, none was available at this moment but the representative told me i should receive a call from nvc during the night. Exactly 30 mn after i received the call from them, the supervisor told me that my case is just completed right now and i will receive an email in 7 days . But until now still 2 N/A , the AOS fee status still " Paid "

I need Help , can anyone help me understand if I do need to certify my marriage certificate before I send it to the NVC because my agent said it should be certified but we already submitted one that was certified but they did not except the translation as far as the agent , I have a copy that is being translated it right now but it's not certified I went to the NVC specific country requirements on this link here:

but I still don't understand if I needed to be certified or not

Congrats to everyone with CCs and interview dates!!

So our case got put thru to supervisor review last week. My husband called yesterday and was told that the supervisor has put our case thru to the review board who will make the decision - has anyone heard this before??

Also, is no one getting interview dates for September yet?

Also, is no one getting interview dates for September yet?

I've never heard of cases getting put before a review board before..... I thought NVC's only job was to make sure all the paperwork was in order for the consular processing?!?!?!

As far as I know, no interviews are being scheduled yet.

Samuel, that is great news. I did not now they could approve the DS260 over the phone. I submitted my DS260 on July 11th and I haven't heard anything from them. They just keep telling me that it is taking them longer than usual to review the forms.

Hello! Long time lurker here, trying to bring my wife with me to the US from Pakistan.

Her case was completed on the 23rd of July. We learned this after calling the NVC upon seeing the three N/A's on CEAC.

Keep calling until yo make the goal. Call and ask to talk to a supervisor directly .
