I'm wondering if cases are faster when processed in the order asked by NVC, it seems to be common for those who submit the documents prior to paying the IV fee to get checklists and 45 day waits advised by NVC (they advised us of a 30 day wait)?

We sent AOS fee, then IV fee and DS-260 and then submitted the IV/AOS supporting documents together in one package lastly.

Scan date to CC - 19 days (and I've not yet had to spend a dime on phone calls!)

We did all of that in the same order as you :-) I figure if someone asks for something in a specific order. there's a reason for it, so follow the instructions.

Been reallyy busy in preparations for my departure to the Philippines this Monday. ✌?️ Interview schedules really depend on the embassy. Some are quick to schedule and some takes months. Did you try joining the CC to Interview Thread?

Hi Venice! We also called NVC today. My case was completed Aug 3. The rep said that they're the one scheduling the interview. Once they scheduled it, they will forward the docs to USEM. He said the earliest schedule that I may get would be September, but he did not guarantee. I was keeping in track of your updates cause you are just couple of days ahead if me. Hope we'll have our schedule the soonest! Good luck!

Hi there! Yeah hopefully we'll get into the september interviews! I will post here if i get an interview schedule for my husband..i noticed the ones who got case complete last july got their interview schedule this month..so we should be on the september list..

I had the worst experience ever with the NVC today. After being on hold for 40 minutes a very rude agent asked me for the usual information. Then asked me for the exact date on which I submitted the DS260, otherwise I should call back again. After telling him the exact date he said "I cannot see anything in the system until 30 days have passed" which is a total lie.

I called back, and after being on hold for an hour, an agent answered and asked for the usual information. Then he said "I see your case is at the NVC, a specialist will help you", and he put me back on the everlasting hold

I've called them many times, but only once did I get a male agent, and he was awfully rude. He even brassily told me, "I can't hear you well! Hang up and try calling again!". I begged him to not make me end the call without asking my question! Everything he said sounded so aggravated and short tempered. Probably the same guy. He needs to find a new line of work.

No, it's just a matter of being lucky and getting the "right" NVC person reviewing your case. We also did our case like you, in the direct order in which NVC wants it and 105 days later, NVC still haven't reviewed my DS-260. Even got a checklist for it on June 18th, saying I hadn't submitted the DS-260, even though it was submitted April 25th.... We're now on day 45 of supervisor review, which means in theory, we should get the three N/As today, although we're not holding our breaths.

Getting so frustrated now!! 46 days and they're yet to review our checklist. All because one box got unchecked when printing!!!! Can't help but beat yourself up for something as simple as that. It's set us back so much.

They've put it through for a supervisor to review. That was on Monday so hopefully we hear something soon.
