Hello everyone,

I am so confused with how the NVC processes cases. My SD for my checklist was 6/16, that is more that 45 days ago. I submitted my DS260 on 7/10, a few days later I received a false DS260 checklist. I have kept calling the NVC 2 times per week since then, and they tell me that it takes them at least 30 days to review my DS260. Is that true? They've had my supporting documents for almost 3 months. Anyone has had the same experience? :crying:

I see many of you paste your timelines in your messages. How can I do that?

YES Sir, JP-F, You need to wait at least 30 days from your last SD of 07/10, for them to review your last documents....About how to post your timeline in your messages I have no idea, I also wanted to do that but.....Somebody can help us with that

Our scan date is April 21 and so far we have not had anything reviewed. After the 30 day waiting period we were placed under supervisor review, which is supposed to take 42 days at the max. After 45 days there was no action taken in our case, and so it was flagged for supervisor review again, restarting the counter. Presently we are at 98 days waiting for action to be taken on our case.

Some people have their cases looked at almost immediately (a few days) after being placed on supervisor review. Some take weeks. In rare cases, you get people like me who get lost in the system. I recommend you call a few times a week to check up on what's happening, if possible. What I do is call exactly when they open at 7am EST. Usually I will be on hold for less than 30 seconds before speaking to someone.

If you need any tips on how to get through, let me know. I've been calling for a long time now.

Hello , Long time no See . my idea is do not look at your Scan date , look at your PD . this process takes around 1 year . I sent my I-130 on nov 10 and I am still at nvc and Got check list for not sending tax transcript that I am 1000 % I sent them :(

Quick Question About The Interview

My husband and I met online and became friends through facebook. We have not met each other before. Before we became friends on facebook he was already friends with my cousin and thats where he found me from. And as time went by we fell for each other and thats how we got into a relationship. And we didn't see each other in person until a few days before we actually got married when I flew to Bangladesh a few months after he moved from London. And my concern right now is that, during his interview, if we tell the embassy in Bangladesh that we met online, than we got married, would it put his case in a risk of AP.
