To give us an idea of what dates they are working on so we know what to expect.. And it has helped alot of people including me i saw that everybody with my scan dated got reviewed and people with scan

It depends on Embassy and how many people are in line for interviews. Cameroon has a lot of applications.

It's like NVC is scheduling appointment anti-clockwise. That is to say from earliest to later, otherwise its not normal that some folks with CC April and May don't have appointment dates yet, if they are truly respecting the 60 days rule.

Hey guys, i m just running my frustrated mouth here, don't take me serious.

Congrats to all folks with appointment dates already. God will see you guys through.

When will the NVC send out the package and how long does it usually take to get there?

USCIS:

2014-10-14: I-130 Sent

2014-10-20: NOA1 Received in mail. Case sent to Vermont Service Center

2014-11-25: Case approved at USCIS

2014-12-09: Case got to NVC

2015-01-13: NVC assigned a case number and invoice # (obtained via phone)

2015-03-06: AOS invoice received via email

2015-03-06: AOS invoice paid online

2015-03-07: Submitted DS-261 Agent Form online

2015-03-26: Sent AOS and IV packages (hard copy) in one package

2015-03-30: NVC received AOS and IV packages

2015-04-24: AOS and IV packages reviewed and complete

2015-04-24: IV invoice received via email

2015-04-30: IV invoice paid online

2015-05-04: Submitted DS-260 Form online

2015-05-04: Received email acknowledgment from NVC about DS-260 Form submission. It said the review will take Up To 30 Business Days!

2015-06-05: Called NVC to request case be reviewed by supervisor since past 30 days... case in limbo

2015-06-15: Another supervisor requested the case for review...

2015-06-19: NVC Case Complete (learned over the phone)

2015-06-26: Received NVC email about Case Complete, dated 26-JUN-15

2015-07-15: P4 Email came about interview scheduling, scheduled for August 25

2015-07-24: Medical

2015-08-12: Interview in Tbilisi, Georgia (Original interview date was August 25)

2015-08-19: ELIS fee paid

2015-09-12: POE JFK

2015-10-03: Green Card Arrived

2015-10-09: Applied for SSN Card at the SSN Office

2015-10-16: SSN Card Arrived

Perhaps some of the old hands here can chime in...are case closings and interview appointments happening more slowly at the NVC now than in the past? If so, why?

It's been over a month since my scan date and my docs haven't even been reviewed yet.

CeeMu , the thread is quite and slow because the way the NVC is working. People are tired of these troubles. No CCs, no interviews.....

True Nyala62, they suddenly became so slow.. after the massive interview scheduling on Monday, now things are quiet.. I don't hear anything from members..especially senior members..

Perhaps some of the old hands here can chime in...are case closings and interview appointments happening more slowly at the NVC now than in the past? If so, why?

It's been over a month since my scan date and my docs haven't even been reviewed yet.

Today is my 85 day without a review.

I think the NVC, for the most part, is lagging right now. It might be because it's summer and people are taking vacations. I've seen a lot of people go into supervisor review because they have waited more than 30 days. However, waiting as long as I have is very abnormal and you shouldn't take it as a sign that you will be waiting that long.

All you can do is call and ask what's happening with your case, unfortunately. Sometimes it means waiting longer, but sometimes you get lucky and get a CC promptly. There doesn't seem to be any pattern behind it.

September 29, 2012 - First met through a writing forum
January 5, 2014 - Engaged!
June 27, 2014 - Married!

USCIS:
September 23, 2014 - Sent off I-130 package
September 29, 2014 - Priority Date
September 30, 2014 - NOA1
March 26, 2015 - NOA2
April 2, 2015 - Case shipped to NVC

NVC:
April 13, 2015 - Case Number/IIN received
April 15, 2015 - DS-261 submitted
April 15, 2015 - AOS fee paid
April 21, 2015 - AOS package submitted
April 21, 2015 - IV package submitted
April 21, 2015 - Scan date

April 30, 2015 - DS-261 reviewed over the phone

May 12, 2015 - IV fee paid (late due to "EP lock")
May 13, 2015 - DS-260 submitted

May 27, 2015 - AOS/IV packages still not reviewed, flagged for supervisor review

July 10, 2015 - Supervisor review does nothing, flagged for unit manager review
August 11, 2015 - Case Complete!

Interview:

October 6, 2015 - Medical

October 13, 2015 - Interview date (AP - need to submit copy of 2014 W2)
October 21, 2015 - Visa status changed to "READY" and then a few hours later "ISSUED"

October 28, 2015 - Passport received (was available for pickup Oct. 27)
October 28, 2015 - POE fee paid
October 30, 2015 - POE!

After POE:
November 9, 2015 - Received SSN (checked off option to apply on forms)
December 1, 2015 - Received Green Card
