Arrogt where u at anything from ur case

Hi Motamimi,

I called this morning and my case still has not been reviewed. It has been 41 days since I entered supervisor review, and 77 since I submitted my original packages for review. I'm going to call again tomorrow since it's day 42, but I have a feeling that nothing will be done. My husband and I are discussing how to get in contact with our congressman to try to get them to do something about it. If we get a checklist after all of this waiting it's going to be a really sad day for the both of us. :(

If there is any progress I'll update the thread tomorrow. My husband was here visiting for the last two weeks for our first anniversary, and he's leaving tomorrow, so I may be a few days before posting again until we have a battle plan ironed out.

I hope everyone else is having better luck than I am! Here's to a lot more CCs and interview dates this week.

Thank you trustG. You're always so kind and supportive to everyone on the thread. :) We're staying as positive as we can. The wait is hard, but what's a few more months apart when we have a whole lifetime stretched out before us?

Amen ArroTG, it's true, it's very difficult specially for some of us who are newlyweds, I thank God that my husband is so understanding and patient, sometimes he even encourage me when I start crying on the phone, God's time is the best, so patiently we are waiting for God's own time, we know there's nothing that is too big for him, he will surely see us through. As his word said he will not leave us nor forsake us, and with him all things are possible. May God have mercy on all of us and let his will be done on us at this difficult journey. In Jesus name.

Hi everyone. Is there a way to know if interview has been schedule other than calling and waiting for the email?

easier thing would be to keep checking the ceac website. it switches to IN TRANSIT when its leaving nvc and then once the embassy puts it in their system it will say READY.. so if you miss the " in transit" you will know for sure if its set if it says READY. then you can call nvc if you didn't get an email and ask them what date it is.

so instead of waiting hours on the phone just keep checking ceac site daily and when it says ready you already know the interview was set because the embassy has your file

@ itsgonnabeworthit. Thanks for the information, please I have one more question, so once the package left nvc, it'll change from nvc processing site to in transit right? And also once the embassy received it it'll change to ready right?

Trustg I send the checklist yesterday that they told me about today I was calling to complain to a supervisor and found out I had case complete u think this will cause a dely in my case I'm worried

ill tell you my personal experience.

I got a checklist for an item they lost. I resent that but at the same time my case was completed because they found the document.

later on they scanned the missing document I sent and since that item needed to be reviewed it caused another 40 days wait (because even though my case was completed, the new piece of information i send needed to be reviewed.

So if you can stop the mail, I would do that. Or hopefully what happened in my case wont happen to yours.

September 19th 2014 - DS260 Completed

October 6th 2014 - AOS and IV Packages Received

November 28th 2014 - AOS and IV Checklist (4 items in total. 3 for documents they lost. Called on December 9 and a rep said no checklist for IV....go figure)

December 8th 2014 - Checklist scan date.

December 30th 2014 - Case Compl........NOT. So after not having an interview date yet, I called again on Jan 30th and apparently its in final review with a supervisor.

February 6th 2015 - Case Complete: Supervisor called from NVC to confirm everything has been completed now.

March 27 2015 - Interview Date

yes once its leaving nvc it will say in transit and you can call because interview is set.. the embassy may still have it and it doesn't say READY because they have not put it in their system yet. so even if you call they wont know anything before it says READY so once it says READY then they have it and they see it! so to your question once the embassy receives it will it change no, but once they receive it in their system it will change.

IN TRANSIT interview is set and its on its way!

READY embassy has it and see's it!

hope that make sense
